Hi TJ, I have been over this demo more 0:06 than a dozen times, I can see the data in Notehub events and I can see my location and a cell tower displayed on the Datacake map but I can’t see the trip data displayed on the Datacake map! Any idea what I’m doing wrong? Thanks, Ed

Hey! Awesome that you’re trying this out. If the data looks ok in Notehub you’ve got the hardest part of this working. In Datacake make sure the your map widget has the correct “Field” set on the Data tab. And then on the Timeframe tab make sure to select “Show historical data” and pick a small timeframe, like an hour to start. To be honest as much as I love Datacake, their map widget isn’t the easiest thing to work with. You could also try routing your data to another platform and experiment.

The Gateway can be configured for the AU915 band (upstreams 915.2 MHz to 927.8 MHz and downstreams 923.3 MHz to 927.6 MHz) ?

Really well orchestrated and delivered demo. Although I can state that I am quite familiar with all aspects shown, never felt the urge to check something else (Email) while watching the demo. Great job.

Thanks, Rob and the team, for creating this video. I have been working/studying on this concept of IOT and AI from 2011 with teachers like Andrew Ng and Geoffrey Hinton. Really enjoyable to see this video.!!

Does the LorRa Notecard support Meshtastic?
@BuildWithBlues
@BuildWithBlues 6 ай бұрын
No, it doesn't support Meshtastic. The Notecard works on it's own RAT, not as part of a mesh network. 💙

i would love to see how well we can optimise a pi5. the pi zero 2 can hit 1.06 watts when underclocked to 600mhz but that's on an ancient 40nm process. the pi5 should theoretically be able to go far lower on power draw with the much newer 16nm process

What pins are used? What pins should be connected to the notecard to perform the outboard dfu. I have a notecarrier A, how do do i achieve this with it?

Seems like the last two lines in the .ini file (right after where it says "lib_deps =") need to be indented, and when you paste the code in, they might not show up that way, resulting in an error that points to these two lines and says they contain "parsing errors." Tabs at the front of those lines should fix it.

Great Tutorial! I would like to know, using this sensor demo as a real world example, How much would this cost to run 24-7 for a year pushing 2 sensors every 15 seconds and then routing to my servers? I am currently doing this with esp32's, Digi cat M1 cellular modems, and EIOTclub sim cards @ $100 for 24GB over 365 days. The problems I'm having with this are supply-chain issues, security. and OTA programming. Your architecture seems like a good fit if it's cost effective.

where can i find the M.2 F pin out? i didnt find it on the site or github also i read that there are unconnected pins would it be ok if those pins are connected to something? As in they must float or are there floating and is ok if they are connected in a custom design to something?
@zakoverflow

The pinout information for the M.2 E-key is covered in [the Notecard's datasheet]( dev.blues.io/hardware/notecard-datasheet/note-nbna-500/#pin-information ). Also, this is a great question for [the Blues Forum]( discuss.blues.io/ ). I just happened to stumble upon this comment. In the future, please post your questions in the forum to ensure you receive a timely response. Not to mention, the answer becomes searchable and helpful to others 👍. Happy Hacking!

Which notecard did you use the CAT-M or Cat-1? I understand the North American just curious which would be the best for this project. Thanks!
@BuildWithBlues
@BuildWithBlues 2 жыл бұрын
Either will work fine - but we always recommend the wideband Notecards (e.g. WBNA model for North America) if you know your deployment will be limited to North America (or WBEX for EMEA).
