Thank you for posting this video which is currently the most thorough visual view of Tallahassee in KZbin. As I post these comments on December 24, 2024, here are the most recent developments since you last uploaded your video: The International Processing Center at the Tallahassee International Airport (TIA) should be completed in Year 2025. It wil be very exciting to see what impacts a cargo international trading center and a designated Foreign Trade Zone will have on future developments for the airport and our Tallahassee metro economy. Hopefully, it will continue to increase airport traffic and revenue to attract additional airlines and airport related industries needed to bring down ticket prices (currently ranked top in the nation). It will also be a key economic engine for attacting high paying private sector STEM , healthcare, and innovative technology jobs needed to retain college graduates. Could increased airport development lure enough businesses to help transition Tallahassee into an economically diverse urban center instead of a large college town? Interesting. The airport gateway connecting TIA and downtown via Innovation Park is scheduled to begin mid-late 2025. This roadway is expected to further enhance Tallahassee's mission of attracting high paying private sector jobs and further the objective of becoming an economic, healthcare, and innovation hub of Northwest Florida. The FSU College of Business has gone vertical (by Tallahassee's standards) on Gaines Street. Also, at least 5 development projects (Perla, Hotel Indigo addition, Park 7, The Tribe, 908 All Saints) are currently in construction along Gaines Streets, in addition to the many other projects (Viridian One, The Mark, 908 Gaines) currently in construction in the Gaines/CollegeTown Districts. The HUB development project is currently in construction at the NW corner of McComb and West Tennessee Streets and the UPCampus property at the SW corner of West Tennesssee and Dewey Streets has been cleared for pending development. FSU has recently brokeground on the new Academic Research Building at the campus of the Tallahassee Medical Healthcare campus. The State of Florida is currently constructing the Emergency Operation Center along Capital Circle SE, across from the Revenue Building. Additional development projects have also been approved for the SE Capital Circle corridor. It is anticipated that the Department of Agriculture and Consumer Services will also begin construction of a new building soon near Capital Circle SE and Conner Boulevard. The Waulanee and Fallschase develoments are also progressing well. Great things are on the horizon for Tallahassee in the future. 👍

Unbelievable how this area has transformed from a dump into a beautiful downtown park. This is Tallahassee’s greatest downtown achievement. Cascades combined with the development of the College Town/Gaines Street District have been transformative projects in the urban core. More development projects are on the way. Awesome.
