You JP guys did your very best in windsurf and sup boards on design, graphic colors and also structures between 2016 and 2018. Thereafter dunna whatever happened and suddenly design graphic and quality went down to some new ugly strange designs and dark graphic that it seems now to be a completely different brand. It is a pity mate!!!

👍That triple loop was a delight to watch, and to see the rig virtually just skimming the water surface repeatedly and with such accuracy proved how experienced at Windsurfing he is.

Can you imagine how long the list would be for all the items that do not come with a particular product? Why not try ordering the bag from the retailer you order the board from?

Those boards make both wave riding and the variety of jumps appear substantially easier to perform than some of them actually are, but it is better to advertise and promote any advances in the shape of both the boards and the sails and the proven results of the same alterations throughout every Windsurfing range.

I use JP Xcite Ride 160 and Magic Ride 119 with Glide Foil M and L-XL (19) front wings. I'm 90+ kg, foiling but without long time balance. What would be the advantages with the Free Foil 130 in riding? Would it be possible to foil in marginal wind with bigger camless sails like my 7,5 and 10 like I do now with the 160?

Hello Nakaniko. The data (width / length): 2024 Magic Ride: 74 / 241 cm 2024 FreeFoil: 77 / 207 cm 2016 X-Cite Ride: 78 / 253 cm Just looking at the data the length(!) and width of the big X-Cite Ride has the highest potential to gain speed for take-off (to get onto the foil). But then again, look at the tail width: 2024 Magic Ride: 49,2 cm 2016 X-Cite Ride: 52,2 cm 2024 FreeFoil: 60,8 cm When you get used to its shortness, the FreeFoil is substantially wider helping you to push off the water. Once in the air, it will be easier to remain in balance because the tail width gives you more control over the foil ... which should help your "long time balance". Sail: Cam or camless does not matter as long as you feel comfortable and set the sail to fit the given conditions. Your JP team

I have the 160 for light wind windsurfing and even windfoiling and for me, heavyweight, it is a must for summer breezes Wonderful

These Windsurfing demonstrations are excellent to see and although I ran my own Windsurfing school over 40×years ago it's always a pleasure and delight to watch the Windsurfing action.

Lovely. Max straigh line speed on a Supersport 133 vs a similar size slalom with a 7.5 three cam freerace sail? Do I gain a lot on the slalom board? Are we talkin 28 knots? 30? 33? Any experience? All the best Per

Hello Lindhofguitar. A slalom board will be faster. How much? This depends on how overpowered YOU want to sail and YOUR ability to keep the board under control. General tests show that using the same sail size and the same fin, a slalom board can be 1-2 knot faster than an average freeride board (about 1 knot faster than freerace boards like the Super Sport). This is only possible if the rider has the technique and physical strength to make the board sail faster. A slalom board has the capability to hold a bigger sails - using the same sail size as with a freeride board already wastes some of the Slalom board's potential. A professional rider uses a bigger sail and -generally- a smaller fin. Without the right technique the board/s would have spin outs with such a small fin. A slalom board only is faster if you can keep the board under control. When the conditions get tricky and/or choppy, Freeride boards are catching up and the speed difference is disappearing. If it really gets rough and choppy normal sailors will be able to achieve higher speeds on freeride boards than they would on slalom boards. Your JP team

Thanks a lot for a very detailed reply. It makes good sense. I just ordered a Super Sport 133. The goal for the season is 32.4 knots - 60 km/h... I guess it's all up to me now... 🙂

Nice footage, but meaningless marketing bullshit without any usefull information. JP obviously doesn't take their customers seriously. I'm sure the board sails very nice, but I don't like to give my money to a brand that communicates to their customers like this.
