Your camper is fabulous, i do love your layout, it would suit me. Approximately how big is your living space, I mean from behind your front seats to the rear please, if you don’t mind that is.

Barrington is very cute! You have a very interesting layout. Did you have it converted or was it already converted when you bought it?
@hikinginaleakyleftboot6 ай бұрын
Hi. I bought the car & few years ago & then last year bought the camper unit to fit into it. It was a second hand one so half the price of a new unit from Chapel Motorhomes.

Hi. I enjoyed your video! Could you please let me know if your zatooto magnetic curtains are advertised as the side curtains on Amazon? I would like to get some for the rear window of my Berlingo but can't find a specific set for rear windows. I'm assuming that you're using the side ones? Thanks!
@hikinginaleakyleftboot8 ай бұрын
Hi. Thank you! Yep, they’re called “ZATOOTO Side Window Sunshades for Car (2pcs)” on Amazon. They’re 72cm across at the top, 48cm length & 92cm across at the bottom. Fit the back window perfectly.

I have a single chapel MH set up in my Berlingo I just love it, like you I don’t seem to use the sink ( only for storage ) I have collapsible sink I use if on day trip I take pots home to wash or use camp sinks. I use an off cut of Lino to cover the floor and footwell so it’s easy to clean after muddy / wet hiking boots come in. Unlike you I don’t have a cute Barrington ❤ happy travels x

I'm sure Barry will get used to the Camper van in time especially as there is always a nice walk when you stop and you can carry him in a dog carry over your shoulder if he gets tired on longer walks, I think you will get a lot of fun from the van so look forward to seeing where you get to, Colin.

Great video! I did this on New Year’s Day, following the directions from a blog saying ‘it’s a bit of a decline to the bottom’ couldn’t believe how steep that bit is with the rope! Had to carry my dog down too! Wish I found this video before as nobody else point out how dangerous that section is 😂

What size is the bed please? - Both length and width? Thanks.
@hikinginaleakyleftboot Жыл бұрын
Hi. The bed cushions are 53cm wide at the top beside the unit & 62cm wide at the open end by the sliding door. Length is 142cm without the bed extension & 192cm with the extension laid out properly with both cushions.

Great video, I love the Peak District and have been going since I was a kid but don’t go that much these days. I always camped at what was Cooper’s Farm in Edale, but I believe it now has a different name, obviously owned/ran by someone new. I’m an amateur photographer and though I liked taking photos back then they were only family snapshots and a couple of trips I went on to France and Norway, unfortunately none of those photos exist now, for some unknown reason most of the photos in our extremely large family album disappeared after my Mum died. Your video popped up, probably due to me watching Landscape Photography and a few hiking videos but it’s perfect as I’m looking to take some photos from above Winnats Pass, that’s if I can make it up there as I have mobility issues due to being a Kidney Patient since I was 2 1/2 months old and being on Steroids since 1988 for my 4 Kidney Transplants. I do hope your own health issues allow you to get out as much as possible, so you can enjoy doing what you clearly love. Best Wishes

Thanks Brian! I do hope you can make it out there. Winnats Pass is just as beautiful from the road as over the top.

The route up onto the top at the start isn’t particularly steep or challenging. Small incline then it’s flat from there. It’s easy to go back instead of scrambling down the rope too. I hope you make it there to see the views!
