Ya know - in the Eddie Printer Users group on Facebook - they have some tutorials on how to get the colors more punchy - I think it may have something to do with contract settings, but I'm not sure. Great group to get some info though!

I think edible paper printers would be the way to go with that - I don't see Eddie handling the "paper" aspect well - the thing he prints on needs weight and height for him to be able to read that the cookie is there. My humble opinion! I've never seen anyone use him for that in the three years I've known the "man" 😂

Dude - Eddie takes no prisoners! Have you joined the Eddie Printers Users Group? They know how to solve every issue and then some. I think your solution may be one of those aftermarket feeder trays!

I’m on one on fb and they are super helpful! I called primera and they walked Me through all the settings and got me up and running they are amazing! I’m So thankful for their amazing customer support!

Great question - I *think* Bartender is PC only - but great news. There's a whole "Mac 'n Eddie" Facebook group to help Apple users get the same juice from their Eddie printer - I think someone is even selling a step-by-step Mac users guide.

Hey Douglas - awesome to hear about you and the wifey's hustle!! This question gets asked a bunch - the summary answer: it all comes down to marketing. How do you plan to market Eddie to the target audience? "No one can buy what they don't know's for sale," right? If you actively market Eddie - and specifically to commercial clients who *love* seeing their logo slapped on just about anything - Eddie can pay for himself in 6 months or less (actual feedback from an Eddie-owning group member).

It shouldn't - try cleaning off the print head with an alcohol wipe and try manually feeding one cookie - see if that fixes it. If it doesn't, you may need to return Eddie back to Primera for calibration.

Great question! I don't because we do manual feeding - meaning we're not using the "feed tray" - but if you do use the feed tray, purchasing the third party feed trays apparently really help with getting Eddie to recognize weird shapes and stops the scraping issue. Sassy Trays is a fan favorite for this.

Hey Jean - yeah. Photoshop is *not* where you wanna start with Eddie. The Bartender software (that Primera recommends) and a Canva subscription will get you far more without the major learning curve!

Great question - but it'd highly dependent on what colors you print. I think I've heard people getting 1 cartridge to last about 6 months, but note - because it's food-safe ink, all cartridges have an expiration date.

I know a lot of people wanna drop their price per dz when it comes to Eddie prints; however, even though *less time* was spent on Eddie cookies, you have the *cost* of Eddie you need to factor into these cookies. And he's not cheap! So - for that reason, unless it was a large bulk order, we'd probably suggest either staying the course or only the slightest discount - but nothing major. If it were me, and the client asked for Eddie printed cookies, I wouldn't drop the price. I'd just see it as an alternative decorating style - same as an airbrush. Hope that helps!

Not anymore! Eddie recently released a wifi adapter. It doesn't come with the standard order but it's a nifty add on! Without it, yes, you'll need to stay connected.
