I think this piece could do some good with expanding the thematic material and having a proper falling V-I cadence or rising vi-V cadence

Sounds Nice. Personally would look & read much cleaner in 3/4 time. just write the tuba with tuplets. Trumpet 2 Measure 6 missing a tie. Sounds like a cool intro/transition to something.

You are most certainly correct. 3/4 would be better. And as far as engraving errors go, I had written this very last minute so it is fairly sloppy. Thank you for the comments!
