Some of Your yam seeds are diseased. It is not a best agricultural practice to use the vine from an immature plant in planting. You should get your vines from a mother plant!

We eat cassava in East Africa in so many ways.... After peeling, slice into cubes and mix with already boiled beans. Or cut into rectangles and steamed in a pot...ply in Uganda we steam in banana leaves...the aroma! Or the rectangles are fried in oil. Or in Tanzania it is thin sliced fir cassava ships just like potato chips...yummy

Or sundried and made into flour for porridge...drink or food. Can be mixed with sorghum or millet to make pap/posho/porridge

Same in Ghana too we use cassava for a lot of things . We boil the cubes and pound into fufu, we boil the cubes and eat with any sauce or just like that. As dough we use it for pap /ugali/banku/ kokonte And of course Gari is the savior we cannot do without it

The right way to do this is to put it in clean water immediately after peeling that way it’s very easy to wash And the Garri will look better when it’s ready,,, but without proper washing it looks dirty after it’s been processed ❤
