I see where ian is coming from, but I feel like our personal representation matters so little that it's really useless to vote this day in age. The only impact I can have politically is with my band. The 2 evils we have to choose from now blatantly disrespect the will of the people, want to kill Palestinian babies, and are using pop culture and media to turn us against each other. It wasn't like 2004 where Bush clearly was the war candidate and Gore was clearly not. Both of our options are innately conservative whether it's Biden or Trump. At least if I don't vote it hurts everyone.

I first met everyone at Dischord House in 81. I spent a lot of time on the couch there and practiced weekly in the basement. While I don’t share my old friend Ian’s political beliefs, I would fight to the death for him to exercise them. He’s a good man and truly a loyal friend.

When I saw him perform in the Misfits, I had no idea he was in his early-ish 20's. That's crazy, he isn't even that much older than me. I like him even more now than I did when the Misifts came back when I was a teenager. He just has such a cool voice, nothing against his regular voice but you would never think that is him singing just because it's so unique.

Mark wasn't jailed for art like "this" - he was jailed for drawing little kids being sexualized, NO, sexualized is the wrong word - moreso grotesquely portraying children's vaginas and showing children in the presence of adults with elections. I'm not against his art at all - but you should know what his art is about if youre going to make a video about it. His portrayal does open up people's eyes to the inhumanity of humanity, but profiting from something so exploitable is abhorrent and really does "cater to the needs of some people". It's disgusting and I love it, his work is phenomenal - but it's so so fecked up
