I changed out the bridge on my chibson Angus Young SG ,went with small posts and a Nashville bridge,if I change out my chibson les paul bridge, I will also go with a small post ABR tuneomatic bridge that's more like the real Gibson uses, I'm not into Wilkinson products, because they put their logo on everything, I'm just trying to get my chibsons to look more authentic.

@@holyrollerguitars I bought small post adapter screws,they screwed right into the existing body studs for the old large post bridge, I was hoping to use a gotoh bridge I had for years,but it's for a real Gibson and didn't want to redrill new stud holes,so I just got an import bridge with small post adapters and it fit perfectly, there's a company that makes the whole switch out kit (Farber) is the name, comes with bridge,post,stop bar, I didn't go that route, I found adapters on Amazon, and just ordered a small post bridge.

I got one of these new from GC when they were $130 (same color and finish. This is the last guitar I would ever sell. So, so good. Better than the Sonics because if the string through body and bridge.

That’s a hard question to answer it with guitars. It’s the American Stratocaster with the TexMex single coils and the diamondback Booker on the telecaster. It’s the Seymour Duncan La Brea pick ups, but a very close with the vintage noiseless pick ups and for the Les Paul it would be a 57 in the neck and a BB1 possibly a BB2 in the bridge but been really enjoying the BB1 in the Bridge how about yourself? That’s the same question I had when I first was looking at this guitar, but then after looking at some vintage Olympic white Stratocaster and Telecasters, I think that they made it an aged Olympic white finish 😎🎸🦯✌🏽💙🕊✝️🎼✈️👍🏽

@@davegass1650 nice you might be better off looking on the used side. You can find them a little bit cheaper and see if the color is what you like. Not sure if you’re in the US but Guitar Center and Musician Friends have a pretty good selection.

I got a new pickguard in the mail today for my Affinity Tele. I tried laying it on top of the one already on the guitar. The number of screw holes is good, and the overall shape is very much the same. Everything looks great, EXCEPT for the oval hole for the neck pickup. For some reason, on this new pickguard, it is located a few millimeters closer to the neck-maybe 5mm or so. Would you care to venture a qualified guess if there's any play inside the guitar body to move the pickup a little to the side and make it fit with this?

You should be OK because the affinity guitars have a humbuker route out for the neck pickup 😎🎸🦯✌🏽💙🎼✈️👍🏽

I thought I watched the video when I posted it and I guess I didn’t stay all the way till the end sometimes the editing software that I use on the iPad iMovie does that I don’t know why, but it happens every now and then so I was just explaining that I’m getting a ringing sound and I have to adjust the pick up and at the end. @@Swamp525 I just ordered some historic cream pick up rings for Les Paul. Make sure to keep an eye out on the next trip and video probably next week. I’m going to replace these pick up rings with the historic pick up rings from the looks of it. They don’t have the curved cut out of them. 😎🎸🦯 actually working on that video right now.
