I heard the reason why 972 loops at Dhoby Ghaut is for BPJ residents to have a faster ride back home, but tbh, I don't think it's an issue anymore now that Orchard MRT gives underground connections to both Orchard Road & Boulevard via ION thanks to the expansion via the TEL interchange.

People are spreading fake rumours about bus 284, being the shortest bus route in singapore even though bus 902 is officially the shortest bus route in singapore, serving one bus stop only (Republic Polytechnic).
