What is the legal size limit for bream?”
@tackletacticstv768719 сағат бұрын
Hey @vietvu2966, hope all's well and you're finding a fish. Legal limits, along with other rules and regulations will vary based on the region that you're fishing. Best option is to search your local fisheries website for local information. I am QLD based and at the time of writing this the legal size for yellowfin bream is 25cm. All the best with the fishing. What size is best for mulloway & king fish
@tackletacticstv76872 күн бұрын
Hey @TheEk1422, it's hard to go past a ZMan 7" Scented Jerk ShadZ for situations where you are fishing deeper or faster, rigged on a 7/0 TT HeadlockZ HD jighead. If you're fishing shallower or slower anglers sometimes prefer a paddle tail, such as a 5" DieZel MinnowZ or 6" SwimmerZ, rigged on a 6/0 TT Lures HeadlockZ HD jighead. All the best with the fishing. @tackletacticstv76872 күн бұрын
Hey @andrewlangton6570, Enforcer soft plastics weigh approximately 220mm - 25g / 250mm - 36g, so by the time you add a jighead or wire harness a pretty substantial rod is required. Hey @michelee4177, hope all's well. The Cedros offers bluewater anglers excellent value for money. It has the build quality and drag to suit your needs. @tackletacticstv76878 күн бұрын
Hey @mananera1, Hope all's well and you're finding a fish. Dan was running the additional length for long casts when targeting snapper in the wash, allowing him to keep the boat further from the rough water. No worries in terms of casting and fighting fish, the key thing to remember is leaving additional line out at the boat, to effectively lead the fish into the net. Dan was armed with an Okuma Salina spinning reel, with a 5000-6000 size popular on that model rod. Fish on! Cheers, Justin

Hey @BudgieAU, buckle up! That's pretty cool that the bream are nailing the sabiki jigs. How do you find fishing for whiting late evening to sunset ?
@tackletacticstv76878 күн бұрын
Hey @stringbean1010, hope all's well and you're finding a fish. This period is definitely a peak bite time as the light is lower, visibility drops and the fish become less spooky. If it coincides with your preferred tides, it can be red hot. Many fishing clubs preferred fishing late afternoon and into the night if whiting were their key target species, with many of the larger fish being landed under the cover of darkness. Plenty of fish can be landed during daylight hours however, and it's just a matter of working out the best tides and how the fish move and feed through the areas that you are fishing. Yabbies and worms are definitely favourite baits, with the ZMan 2.5" Slim SwimZ in Pink Glow colour also accounting for whiting for me while targeting other species. All the best with the fishing. Cheers, Justin

@saphserg522116 күн бұрын
Update: just found the how to fish video, a rigging 101 would be cool tho still going over the diffrent points and how it affects the blade in each position with more explination then on the box.
@tackletacticstv76878 күн бұрын
@@saphserg5221 noted on this one. If you have some reasonably clear water it's cool to experiment with your retrieves using the different attachment points, so that you know what the blade is doing. A lot of work went into getting the balance right on these though, so you can be pretty confident that you are getting plenty of action on more aggressive hops, through to more subtle pulses and a slow roll. I will put it to the team, so stay tuned in the new year for a breakdown of each attachment point, retrieves... and if the rain stops and water clears, some underwater footage. All the best with the fishing. Cheers, Justin

is watermelon red a dark color or natural color or ? thank you legend
@tackletacticstv76878 күн бұрын
Hey @hunterfan6194, I reckon Watermelon Red is one of those versatile colours that fishes well across fresh / salt, a range of species and varying conditions. It has won tournaments in the fresh and salt, in varying conditions and I think it's heavy enough in colour, plus the fleck, to offer a silhouette in dirty water... but that natural green colour still fires in clean water and on bright days. It also has UV-reactive qualities when you hit it with a black light, adding to its versatility. If the fish were spooky, the water clear and the day bright, I would still be putting on a lighter, more transparent, natural colour (Opening Night, Bad Shad), but Watermelon Red has long been a favourite in the ZMan range and will catch fish in most situations. All the best with the fishing. Cheers, Justin
