Great job on documenting a lot of history! Very interesting! Really cool to that Geo Washington stopped by the house.

Fun little watch. My sister and her husband visited the house a couple of months ago. Story goes it was originally the Woodcock house. Our great, great, great, great, great, great, grand father was John Woodcock. Thanks for the tour. Dave Woodcock

It's always interesting to hear the personal connections to places like this. Thanks for the comment. I have several other videos of the Woodcock Garrison on my channel.

Thanks Dave. Having been to a few historical homes myself, I’m always curious as to how much of the furnishings are original to the home from a specific time period. If you should ever go to another, I’d be interested to know if the houses had any portion of the original foundation. I’d be interested in seeing the foundation in a video. Thanks again!

Based on my own personal experiences and that of my sibling and cousins, the issue is being sentimental. I’m 64 and have no children , it’s difficult to part with items that belonged to my parents or aunt and uncles. I have no one to leave my cherished items to. I do have a nice and nephews, it just seemed like the younger generations don’t have the same attachment to what I would call family heirlooms. That’s my dilemma!🤷♂️

Keep watching, I will address this issue in a video sometime this year. It is not easy!
