I was somewhere around 17 and worked two blocks away from MPH "Mikes Performance Headquarters". I'd stop by MPH on my way home from work to see what they were up to, working on cars from all over the world. AC Cobras everywhere you looked, one time right when I walked in the garage door I watched one of the guys get in between the tube frame of a cobra (body and frame no engine etc.)and pick it up and carry it to a different part of the shop! This blew my mind! Along with all the Cobras there was also an old Bugatti that was so amazing but even more amazing, the Super Coupe! They explained that the car never got finished and that they had to go by what plans they had and make things as they went along. One of those being the windshield, which they had custom made and cost around $5000 which back then(1978 ??) was a lot! I watched the car progress little by little but never saw it finished. So... to see this video is Super awesome!! Thanks for sharing.
