There was an ad on Gumtree in 2023 for a free chocolate labrador in my area. I didn't believe it but when I got to the farm I was told she had hip displacia and this is the reason she is free. She saved my life. I quit drinking and stopped using meth and now live a beautiful life with my girl... Labradors give as much love as you need ALWAYS

yepp.I just got one after lots and lots of research and searching. An absolute gem of a puppy 9 weeks old. Have had him for a week and we are getting along great. A joy of of pup around others, people, dogs, cats .....everyone gets giddy and does the 'baby voice' when they meet him. Even strong grown men. Too funny. His name is Morgan. Quite the gem indeed. I couldn't be happier in my choice and this new little pup.

That's a choice though. It just depends on what you really want in your life, you know? If having a dog would make you happier then traveling, it's within your power to make that happen. (This message is not meant to be negative. Just wanted to clarify that as tone is so hard to tell via text) wish you the best!

Chocolates were actually killed at one point, making them extremely rare and suddenly more popular. My family used to have a chocolate lab, Leroy. Lived for 12 years, from about 2006-2020. Had to put him down due to rapidly declining health and the vet refused to see him even with breathing problems. During early covid, so either he was dropped off and never seen again or, what we went for, a gal came down from a major city up north so we could stay with him. Even going on four years later, it’s still painful and i miss that sweet boy. My dad went and got a black lab, Loki two days after Leroy’s passing. I’ve long moved out

Great video very informative, but one important thing that you forgot to mention is that Teacup Yorkies have a tendency of being more prone towards having more medical issues than a standard size Yorkie!!! That's something very important to know before deciding which size Yorkie an individual wants to adopt or buy from the very beginning!!! As an owner you have to ask yourself if you can afford to pay for all the medical expenses that will arrive after owning a Teacup Yorkie!!! Standard size Yorkies have medical issues as well but not quite as much as a Teacup Yorkie!!! Teacup Yorkies also have a shorter life span than a standard size Yorkie!!! Teacups normaly have a life span of 4yrs to 9yrs versus 13yrs to 16yrs for a standard size Yorkie!!! Some standard size Yorkies are known to live up to 20yrs old!!! At the end of the day, standard size Yorkies are healthier and are the best way to go if you want a Yorkie who will live longer and be healthier!!! 👌👌👌

I lost my red golden retriever about a year ago, one of the best dogs I ever had. Loved to chase the ball to the point of obsession, loved chasing coyotes and bobcats, was utterly fearless, wanted to be with me all of the time, super high energy, very charismatic, friendly and fanatically loyal. He died of T-zone lymphoma, a common cancer for this breed. After being diagnosed at 9, he made it to 12. I miss him a lot. Make sure you screen your red golden for cancer at least once a year.

Our Cavachon Teddy just turned nine last month. We bought him from a Mennonite farm family in PA at three months and I suspect he was raised in a pen in the barn because he didn't know how to walk on a leash but when we got home and I let him out on the deck he made a beeline for the Fall leaves to relieve himself. I had owned and trained a couple of poodles and immediately recognized how smart he was. For example he understood that if I took a white sock and tied a knot in it that was a toy, but similar socks without a knot lying on the floor were not. He never chewed on shoes, etc. or ate and swallowed things like some breeds (looking at you Doddles). From the start he wasn't a "lap dog" wanting to jump up and cuddle. When jumping up on the bed his preferred spot is down at the foot of the bed. But he loves to play, his favorite toy the little Hartz squeaky balls he will chase endlessly. I hit them with my 7 iron. There is a video of that and him playing on my channel (named for him with his photo)

I had a black Lab with dwarfism. She was a great dog but her front legs were shorter than her hind legs. She also developed juvenile cataracts at the age of 2 years old. She eventually was completely blind. Unfortunately dwarfism and cataracts are are genetically linked. Reputable breeders do not promote breeding dogs with this condition. There is no such breed as a mini lab!

I had a black and white Cavachon for 16 years. He's definitely the sweetest dog I have ever seen. I have never heard him growl, he is so well behaved. He doesn't even need a leash he would follow me everywhere. I miss him terribly.

I drive a truck. 10 days ago in Moscow , KS I woke up to a pure white Siberian Husky laying outside my truck. of course I got out to meet him. He came to me almost instantly, was kind. loving and affectionate. I spent 2 hours playing with him until I had to leave. The manager of the cotton gin had told me he was dropped off and left there 3 months earlier. And, asked if I wanted him. During that week I could not get him out of my mind. I asked my wife and she said " no way". that she did not want 5 dogs in the house. You see, we already have 4 Chocolate Labs. Long story short, Kotton, now has 4 Chocolate Labs as his family. He has been here with us since Tuesday as I drove back to get him from LA. Tuesday night I went up into our bedroom and there was Kotton laying on Timbers bed, with my wife laying on the floor alongside Kotton. We are very happy to another child in our home.

We are thrilled with our Fox Red Labrador puppy named a Presley . As of July 4 2024 he is one year old. He came from Wildrose Kennel in Oxford Mississippi. They train fabulous water fowl hunting dogs. I didn’t need a hunting dog but I wanted one of their dogs just the same. He is smart and goofy and lovable and really wants to please. He howled the night we brought him home because he probably missed his mother. He is not very vocal at all. But he will bark if he thinks we are not paying enough attention to him. Oh yeah and he barks at the roomba vacuum also. This is his father and he is quite a good Hinton dog m.kzbin.info/www/bejne/gqSqppadmL6eoNE&pp=ygUPV2lsZHJvc2Ugcml2ZXIg

We bought Ender from a couple who specifically breed cattle dogs and the Texas Heeler was highly recommended to us by them after hearing about our small hobby farm and animals. He’s without a doubt, the absolute BEST dog I’ve ever had! Ridiculously smart, insanely loyal, very lovable, somewhat sneaky (sometimes) and he’s great with my kids. I couldn’t give a higher recommendation to this breed. Buyer beware, these pups need plenty of exercise. If you’re not there active type, consider a different breed.

I've just adopted a mini aussie (american) shepherd. She is 4 years old, intact, and had to be rehomed as her family is divorcing. She's been bred. It's been 24 hours and she's still super skittish looking for her 'other' mom. Wish me luck!!

I have a red golden. She is eight months old and sadly has very dry skin and got hot spots. The vet prescribed her something to disinfect, ointment, change of food and special shampoo. If anyone has any great tiles to avoid this from happening again I would welcome all advice. I want to avoid my precious from getting this again.
