Why not put fire bolt on enchantments and then skill up devouring blaze for more critical strike dmg. or does it not work with blizzard? Nice video tho :)

Yeah, blizzard doesnt proc firebolt enchantment.

This is 100% only possible to get these numbers because of the barber heart and crit heart, if you took these off ur damage is gonna drop off alot, and also ur almost getting one shotted by trash mobs this is not how other classes play, sorc is garbage.

For general farming , 50-60 tiers which enchantment would you take over flame shield? Thanks

Probably firebolt or maybe even chain lightning, but leaning more to firebolt. The extra 9-12% damage from the new element could be good. Depending on your gear you might just need to put one or two blizzards down per pack and run right past them though regardless.

hi @Idenline, I wanted to thank you for the video, it is just excellent. Thanks again. I have two questions for you please. how come you haven't consumed any mana points 13:54 despite several blizzard casts and even after several seconds of the boss fight you haven't consumed any mana points!! 2nd question: I have exactly the same build, almost the same pieces of stuff, the only difference is that I'm level 83 but I didn't do half of your damage!!! it's very rare that I see 1M damage in my spells. Did I miss something ? :) I'm struggling to finish a boss in mono... thanks again

There was a channeling shrine I had saved for the boss specifically, I grabbed it and ran to the boss arena as fast as I could. Channeling shrines make your spells free and cooldowns come back up faster. For question number two, there's a multitude of factors, are you stacking blizzards on targets? Are you making sure to cast your blizzards above 50 mana? Do you have good pieces of gear, like crit damage/vuln damage/a good barber/decent glacial aspect. All these multipliers come together to do the dirty numbers

dude you're telling me. I remember thinking I might want to cancel this early cause it could shoot a bolt that'll hit me when this drops. dug my own grave there ffs. i think shit like that is liveable though at 100 with more optimized defense paragon board and if I actually had a decent chest piece (damage reduction from vuln/cc target aspect)

frozen orb / flame shield! I didn't really respect the flame shield enchant, just kept running in lol but if you want safer clears you'd def try to chill a little to get that back online.

@@Skiellll It lacks defensives entirely and is generally overkill. It also puts you in danger more without a teleport. Plus plus if im not mistaken the stun will take away one of your chances to freeze. So say you go in with rainment, you'll only get one freeze to kill the pack, before they become unstoppable. But honestly since I was one shot this dungeon anyways it might of been the better option.

This is calling out sorcs? This is only a tier 70nm if compared to preseason dungeon nerf. Other classes could farm tier 70s pre season 1 in under 4 minutes with zero risk of death. And you barely cleared it using all your lives painstakingly slow. Pre dungeon nerf every single one of those arrows that hit you would have been overkill for you, even with a shield on. Glad they nerfed the dungeons so much to give the sorc a chance at beating them on super handicap.

OOPS That is a mistake with me setting up the build, when I get home I need to check if I actually have those slotted, lol. Those would be dead and wasted points. No reason to ever pick resistance nodes unless they are gatekeeping something else.

@@Idenlinelol Hahaha got it! To be honest I reviewd it too and there are only 2 points around the Chilling rare node.. I think you can just swap those for 2 extra points on 5% vuln dmg around the Weakness rare node. So assuming the Tactician glyph is at 21, the whole vuln bonus provided by the glyph should be something around 56%, looks pretty sweet :) Thanks again my friend

Basically its super high crit chance + stacking blizzards with glacial enchant and crowd control duration, and with the new barber malignant heart and crit damage malignant hearts, the multipliers get out of hand in a hurry.
