The same as Jesus: God, the Father, sent Jesus into the world to overcome the world. Jesus was sent to be the image and representation for what will become of us if we believe in the words he spoke, for his words are a promise from the Father. Everything that Jesus has done, we must do also. Jesus came bearing God’s words of truth, and we must do the same (John 12:49-50); Jesus came to do the Father’s deeds, and we must do the same (John 8:28); Jesus came to only do the Father’s will and to finish His work, and we must do the same (John 4:34); Jesus came to destroy the works of the devil, and we must do the same (1 John 3:8); Jesus came loving both God the Father and man, for this is how we will have life (Luke 10:28), and we must do the same (Matthew 22:37-39); Jesus has overcome this world, and he will grant us to sit with him in his throne even as he sits down with the Father in His throne; Jesus returned back to the Father when it was all done, and we must do the same (John 16:28).
