Sorry for the newbie question- I'm new to longarm quilting and just bought this machine. Why do you have to pull up your bobbin thread? Would it be ok to just use the built in cutting feature? Does that not tie it off for you?

Slide off mat, don't lift it. That will help the static.

Great tutorial! A reminder to use only cotton fabric, 100% cotton batting and 100% cotton thread for this project if you are going to use it in the microwave! Nobody needs a fire!

Very nice. Just made this and it turned out great. I was glad you addressed the lining being tacked down since I wasn't liking the idea it wasn't sewn into the seams. But it was nice not to have to bind the seams inside. So fair trade! I really appreciate people like you that take the time to do these tutorials. Thank you.

He asked me for this kind of bag 13” high by all 13” long and 3” deep. The zipper goes down on the sides and top of course. Silly me. . I just can’t figure how to make the calculations. Thank you.

Hi. Im using accuquilt die, and having trouble sewing my HST's accurately. My needle keeps pushing the ends of the triangle fabric down into the needle plate. There isn't an alternate needle plate available for my machine. What do you suggest?

You didn’t answer my question about the double stick tape gumming up your needle. You told me you use a Juki. That has nothing to do with it. What double stick tape do you use?

Thank you for this video. I see that you use double sided tape to adhere the zipper. Do you have trouble (needle gumming up) with your tape. I have had trouble with sticking and skipped stitches when sewing through this tape. Perhaps you use a specific brand?

Just the video I was needing. I'm having my first go at bias binding on a quilt because I'm using a striped fabric. This is the first one I understood. The stripes on my fabric are wider apart so I'm going to have a lot of waste but that's OK. I have plenty of the fabric. Thank You.
