Where do you find MRE’s for under $5.00? The cheapest I’ve seen are around $11.00 and up, for 1 MRE. Are you talking about making your own MRE’s? If you are you should have stated that in the video so people don’t get confused. How about a piece on how long you can keep food, if it should be transferred to a glass container (like for tomato products or pineapple), canned meats…. Dehydrating meats for jerky, etc

I bought a cheap $1 container of salt and dumped it into a ziplock sandwich bag, then put that bag in another ziplock bag with a silica packet. Perfect size for a single person. Also put in a few ramen seasoning packets since they’re high in sodium and can comfort the soul a bit

Great ideas! Sadly I can't grow vegetables indoors. I have indoor cats that love to use the pots/buckets or planters as litter boxes. 😭 But can hang a bucket in a window. Thank you for sharing.

Not at thrift stores or flea markets but, you can get food grade buckets in the bakery dept in your local stores. And they are free. I got several different sizes.
