I still haven’t had enough snow this year to get the plow out. 😢 Maybe we’ll get a late season blizzard in March. Then I’ll need a loader.

And an inch-and-a-half may not seem like much, but in the more temperate areas that do get some snow, if you don't do something and you just let it sit there, it will pack down and when the sun shines on it, it starts to melt, but it will turn into ice. Very slick slightly uneven ice that is hard to negotiate walking on.

Sometimes you just want a basic truck with a stick. I plowed 4-5" today in MI with my 8163-T. It was so dry it's kind of like plowing water. It just spills everywhere and takes forever to clean up. Wouldn't mind if it was just a bit wetter. I'm glad you saved the gas cap!

B/S is a good engine as I have a 8163B but in my experience it’s a second fiddle to the Kohler K series. Hard to think but I believe we got more snow here in W. Va. then you got in Wisconsin. Normally our winters are very mild but we got at least 10-12”s. I love them ole Gravelys.

Cold overnight is when you can put a minus sign in front of the number 🥶 If you jam two nuts together on a stud you can turn it in and out without a vise grip on the threads. I use a scissor jack under the hitch for alignment. Brake cleaner can make some plastics brittle, carb cleaner not so much. Glad you got all of them going. PaulL
