It’s the Aussie built bigger and better cousin of the astra. The ve commodore. Same as a Pontiac g8. To my knowledge it’s a completely stock engine at this stage

@@Toxic2T no problems. It’s got a very strange exhaust set up on it that probably is giving it a tiny chop. The video definitely makes it sound rougher idle than in person 😂 that’s before all of the servicing and maintenance was done to the engine too. Cheers for your comment!

Hey Ryan! This one’s got no rear brakes. I originally built it to be a burnout car so they were the first things to go. Alternatively you could use brake line clamps on the soft lines to the rear brakes to allow you to stand still with a stock car.

Thanks mate! We have only just started so it will only get better from here. The camera makes it look slow and it’s on loose dirt track. I recommend coming out and having a watch because the camera doesn’t do it justice 😂 But our car does lack power under 3000rpm. It’s got a huge camshaft and it’s geared to suit high rpm (being an ex speedway car) anything under 3000 it over fuels coughs and farts that you can hear in the video, once over that it takes off. We have a few fixes for the off season to fix this

Still enough power to win some races and beat the fords 😉 but Anything below 3000rpm it’s a bit of a dog. Way too much fuel. Anything above that it takes off like a rocket ship. Being an ex speedway car it’s geared and tuned for higher rpm. Which I don’t get to stay in for this form of racing. Few changes happening in the off season to fix this

I ended up stealing this one for $3k. Plenty of great cars around ready to race or project at the moment being off season ranging anywhere from 2k to 5k for a good car! By far the cheapest Motorsport around and awesome fun! I’d definitely recommend getting into it!

I’ve Started to weld in some rust repair patch panels in the Rolla. I’m a complete novice self learning on panel work and didn’t think it would be good watching. Can definitely put something together in the next week or two if you would be interested in watching 🙂

Hi Steve. It really depends of the level of build you want or what you want to build the car to do. My build cost me around 10k with me installing everything. You can probably get it done cheaper, and you can definitely spend a lot more than what I did.

15x7 steel rims with 205/65r15 for burnouts Not sure for show haha. I’ll make the tubs wide enough for some nice fattys if I decide to run some later 😂

Haha yeah mate! It’s a beast. It needs a lot of work but it’s a pretty good base to build a pretty mental little tyre killing machine. Needs some panel work and a killer paint job 😉 I don’t mind the Burnrolla.

Not bad for a stock LS1 hey! Straight through twin 2 1/2 inch system gives it a really crisp note! 👌🏻 It does lay a nice skid tho 😂
