This is very misleading regarding the survivors or rather lack of them and has resulted in misinformed comments. You have to remember this action was fought at night in a storm the sea was near freezing, your survival time would be measured in minutes once you entered the water. Ships are searching for survivors at night in storm lashed seas, most of those in the water would be dead and you wouldn't risk stopping with the U-boat threat unless you were sure they were alive. 36 people were picked up out of the water no mean feat under those conditions. What human remains would you find after 80 years at the bottom of the sea ?

@@ianm4633 as said in the video the human remains have been accumulated over the last six decades (now 8 decades). I dont know then why they tried to look for the remains 🤷
