It’s her old song Whatever (teenage feeling) which was on her ep called Killer (not the later EP with the same name). The cover of the album is Phoebe in what looks like a bathroom looking slightly down towards the floor

I love relient K's song collapsible lung. Really a testament to Robert's songwriting being pretty malleable. You always see people sort of poking fun at that niche sound he has on a lot of songs and yk the crazy lyrics. There's a whole lot to borrow from there.

Thank you for posting this. Brings me back to seeing her at Mercury Lounge in NYC, looks like a similar venue and the same intimate vibe. It was obvious back then how talented she was, great to see her success both solo and with boygenius.

I'm excited to finally see this early performance because she's talked in interviews about how nervous she was playing in front of a hardcore punk crowd, who turned out to be really cool receptive to her solo music, with one guy who she described as being fully part of that scene (facial piercings etc) reassuring her that "truth transcends genres."
