@@dion1582 BERP’s are great, I prefer something not attached to my instrument for when I’m just doing buzzing warm ups and exercises. To this day my favorite is still a lead pipe or a clear plastic tube. The resistance those add feels more like the instrument than a BERP in my opinion.

That was gorgeous! I used to have a Conn 60H that I had Larry Minick convert to a double inline valve bass. I don't have it anymore and wish I did. Congratulations on your acquisition of such a great horn!

I’m a bass trombonist in 8th grade and yesterday my teacher was talking to me about upgrading my mouthpiece and he asked me if there were any bass trombonists I liked and I said no he showed me you now I do and also the bass trombone I play is his and YOU were the reason he bought it and he has the same one as you shire

Wow - consistent big dark sound at any volume level and any range! And the amount of effort to get these sounds seems to be negligible to what it would take to get the same from my 1970's Bach 50B2. Now if I only had the $12,000 to spend on a new trombone.... :-)

I fell in love with this piece when it came out a few years ago, hearing it practically remastered is amazing for me due to the fact that I hope to be playing this for my senior recital in a few years. Thank you for being a great tone model!

Wow, you have so incredible sound!!!. Your capacity to breath through your nose is so amazing ❤... i'm recording it in my mind as "the goal" 😊. Just wondering if you consider a good practique for a bass beginner to breath throuth the nose or better to focus on establishing a good sound basis by breathing throght the mouth.
