I have a 2014 ford tourneo courier 1.6tdci , regular oil changes are a must, for me every 6000 miles. Cheers from Turkey 👍

Turbos do not have oil “seals” matey they have piston rings on the shaft. There is no seal to “blow out”. Mechanics never use chisels to remove a sump unless replacing it, if you look around it there are rectangular faces on the block to use to gently pry the sump off.

Do you have to connect a 12 volt supply when changing batteries? Ie if you completely disconnect the car from power does it cause problems with the radio / alarm

Cool go 4 it. The Ka gearbox is pretty easy to take apart even if you strip the whole thing.

Having seen this video and the one inwhich you dismantle the gearbox, I've decided to have a go at the rebuild myself, hoping to find some info on torque settings. Thank you, so much.
