Thank you. If I remember correctly, it took me around two and a half hours.

What are the mixes? Just cement and fibreglass?
@KardamovMakes15 күн бұрын
It's concrete and fiberglass. Cement is an ingredient in a concrete mixture.

You're awesome! Thanks for the great wellspring of information. Beautiful results! REQUEST: Could you please consider doing a video that teaches us how to make a small but highly effective workbench for doing human powered (carving, foot pedal, etc.) projects that don't leave saw dust and that are not noisy? My wife and my neighbors would be very annoyed otherwise. I live in an apartment complex and power tools and large work stations are not doable. I've watched videos featuring foot powered lathes that are very quiet for example. Thank you. Hope you can blow our minds with such a video tutorial.
@KardamovMakes15 күн бұрын
Thank you for the request. Do you mean a type of portable benchtop workbench? A foot-powered lathe is not something I would consider making, but a small workbench might be useful for me as well ;)
@GigglinHamster15 күн бұрын
@@KardamovMakes A portable workbench would be great, but especially one that can be used in a tiny studio apartment (that could solve loud noise and saw dust concerns), and any human powered features would be especially fascinating. Maybe instead of a pole lathe, how about a foot pedal that uses a counter weight instead of the pedal being attached to a pole? Thanks again!

Well, the design is quite simple but application is not so simple.

Bummer, no link or mention about the chisel being used to get that texturing. Hopefully it won’t be too hard to find one that can do something similar to that texturing work.

Martind.4930 had the same question. Check out the comment from him to find out about the chisel. It's not so hard to find the chisel.

Very cool build. Do you have to do anything to seal the concrete, or is it good enough as it comes out of the mold?

Thanks. I rather apply concrete sealer. It adds a bit more protection.

This Box Looks very beautiful!! I wonder, if it got cracks because you added the inner parts to keep the top in a perfect position. Actually theese parts would prevent the outer parts from shrinking if they should because of a change of the humidity of the surrounding Air.🤷

Thanks. I am still using it and it looks as good as new. Not cracks so far.

Which kind of finish do you use ?
