Laminate to laminate bond? Sorry but putting a putty/glue without lamination is a weak point! To actually layup the two shells is strongest.

What? the hull to deck core is laminated with n2 layers of 1708... Now if you are saying the plexus with the holes will not bond to the laminate of the deck liner, then you are simply just wrong... You would need a air chisel to break that bond.. Not being rude but we do not do things that haven't been tested and proved to ourselves before we move forward... We know our composites sir...

We inject after the parts are glued together... We use a nitrogen assisted two part floatation foam...

That adhesive looks just like JB WELD, is there any similarities?

They are different, methacrylate is acrylic resin(with rubber and other stuff for strength) with a hardener, JB weld is epoxy resin with amine or similar hardener.

JB Weld is a two part epoxy resin....Methyl methacrylate adhesives like an epoxy are made of a resin and hardener however methacrylate has its own molecular make up completely different to epoxy resins. Most MMAs also have additional strengthening agents. MMAs cure quickly at room temperature and have full bond strength soon after application. The adhesive is resistant to shear, peel, and impact stress.

Im restoring my 74 over the last three years, the fuel tank ruptured this past winter. How big a tank were you able to fit in there in the end? Mine came with a 40 gallon, I'm trying to maximize internal fuel storage.

The original fore hatch...to the new center console...that's authenticity! Cannot compare the character of brightwork and blue topside with the austerity of new white...Smart that Whaler is working in subtle coloration to their new line up. METAN turned this relic forward into a masterpiece of modernity and classic style.

Trying to finish the floor in my boat.its just marine ply right now.. Ordered 1708 biaxial, would that be the correct Mat I need? And how many layers would you suggest? Plan on pouring down my resin putting my mat down more resin on top of that and rolling it out x2. Hoping that would be sufficient.
