I love this singer whose work I discovered during the LP days in some compendium or other. She has a miraculous voice and technique. Her trill is in the Melba class. And you can hear from her delivery of this aria that she was an excellent actress as well as a singer. She puts in the overflowing happiness that a young woman would have seeing fabulous jewels for the first time. She bubbles with excitement. This is a wonderful version of this aria which some singers reduce to a technical etude. Thanks for post. Can we expect more?
