Everything about the art style of FNAF is "uncanny" and "off". Animatronics look realistic, but not realistic enough. They are supposed to resemble animals, but their proportions are a bit too "human". The building designs and layouts don't make any sense, but they feel like they do. The games look 3D, but are actually just warped 2D renders of 3D models. The pixel art is not actually pixelated, but it still feels pixelated.

Didn't watch the video yet, but the OG FNAF games always had a sort of "dark web" energy to them. They felt like niche and obscure pieces of lost media or banned content that you're not supposed to play. These games feel 10 years older than they actually are, due to Scott Cawthon using an outdated 3D modelling software on an outdated game engine using outdated pixel graphics, outdated sound effects, and outdated gameplay. FNAF was the scariest when there was a maximum amount of mystery and little was known about the developer of the games. Whether to a kid or adult, FNAF was just as scary as you imagine it to be.

What makes old fnaf games and community in general, is that we din't know much about the protagonist, the antagonists, about nothing pretty much, some people would think the game was about a normal guy working at a old pizzeria and some malfunctioning robots were trying to turn him into one of them

I read the title as “Why is Old FNaF so SEXY?” And was like HUH?

old fnaf feels misunderstood in alot of cases. people i know just dismiss it as just a jumpscare fest but i doubt they played the game. some may say the story made no sense back then, but thats not true either. it happens with some other game series i've seen even if i enjoy the ones the fanbases try to forget

Fnaf 1, to me, will always be the scariest due to the fact it's not forcing itself to you like all the later installments. Granted we never seen this genre before the release of it, but like alot of games and movies, once you know what's coming it usually never surprises you anymore. That, including some of the most realistic graphics for the world and characters, along with sound design so devoid of life which makes you feel alone more than fnaf 3 which technically has more things to lash at you than just the main gang of 4 (5).

Scott's art style resembling to early 2000s CGI and stock sound effects and music that feels nostalgic made FNaF so unique. I wish other developers took inspiration from older FNaF games!

The 3rd games lullaby songs are beautiful, they gives me a more somber feeling that reminds you of what these robots were before being haunted and destroyed.

2:48 The thing i find terrifying about this is the reason why he follows the sounds, the audio tapes mention that the animatronic suit is designed to follow the sounds of children. the suit is still active, and it's forcing him to follow the sounds against his will. imagine how painful that feels too, the servos and joints just turning inside of your muscles and bones.

Haven’t finished the vid yet, but I believe it’s because the first few games were more grounded in reality and was more spiritual than sci-fi
