My Father and his two brothers all made it thru ww2, my mothers brother went thru Korea, and Vietnam, we lost cousin Eddy in Vietnam. I served 8 years US Army. My nefew did 3 tours Afghanistan and is still in as a Major. That's how my family has served this country. I still have my dad's photo of his company the day before they left for Europe in WW2. 167 men in that company left only 86 came back.my dad was one of them. 327th path finders.

I can’t believe we still use toothpaste in 2024. Toothpaste was traced back to 3,000 B.C. I think we should stop using that too. We need to modernize!

Actually no if you aren’t making the sales its not always you the final decision is up to the customer and the client not you can make a great pitch provide all the information needed but if they don’t want it thats not on you it’s ridiculous to put that blame on yourself like that if you do then you probably having controlling issues

Agreed. 100% commission smacks as being exploitative.

What a crock. enjoy making just above minimum wage if you cant hustle besides in a digital age i dont go to a physical store to buy anything anymore. If i go to a furniture store or car dealership i already know what i want im just going there to try it before i go home and buy it online.

Yeah sales is really good if! The economy allows it to be! And if what you sale is good! Just speaking for me personally i do not need a sales man i just need you to get the paper work done for me. Not saying im better or know more.. but by the time im buying something i have looked at all your competitors and know this is the product i want.

Pen tester, you choose the jobs you do and the amount of them, you sharpen your skills with each job, you don’t have to deal with people, little risk, if a vulnerability exists you’ll find it. You don’t always make every sale.

Sales only works if you can really sell what it is or you are selling multiple things at once. I am salary, and get a fat bonus for any increase in business that it due to my effort, as well as a significant pay increase for the next year. You think a mattress salesman is getting unlimited money?
@softspokensatan82479 ай бұрын
Bingo if you're selling in a limited market like company to company or what car sales used to be (I hear these pay worse now). Otherwise better to get a stacked pension and retire early vs sales where you can't take vacation without losing money. When salesmen take a day off the net lose. When I take a day off same pay same benefits. I enjoy my vacations

@softspokensatan8247 The business I work for is great and actually takes care of its employees. I am glad they hired me on and I am glad to work for them. If your job isn't noticing, congratulating, and rewarding good work that benefits the company, then maybe go somewhere else.

@@chrishancock2212 sadly true or I recommend unionizing. My wife had our first baby we got 12 weeks each paid time off and our insurance covered everything other than 89 dollars. For America that's crazy good

Nonsense. I've been in sales all my life and not all sales jobs are created equal nor are they all a meritocracy in practice.
