Bryan Robson was my favorite player growing up in the 1980s, and a prized possession of his i got n 1984 was a sighned photo of him, which i got framed and was on my bedroom wall for years ,...ive still go that signed photo today,....though im now in my 50s , that photo reminds what a great player he was,..and a united legend , and still my favorite ever player

Tbis was Broughton Comprehensive ehich only later was calked Broughton High when all the Comps were renamed as High Schools. It sadky deems as though my old school on Mesnefield Riad off Moor Lane Broughton has been omitted from the history of Salford schools.

I remember going in this school when I was about 13 in about 2004 and it was like it had either stopped operating as a school or was in its last weeks me and my friends went walking round the whole school it was really dated and I just remember seeing a lot of photographs of old Jewish teachers / scholars or something it was actually quite a scary setting for me as a young lad back then what an adventure it was though me and my little mates from ordsall being cheeky and mischievous🤣

Martin was a true world class defender. When United played foreign teams and one or two players struggled to match the opposition Martin never looked out of his depth. Look what happened to Scotland in the 78 World Cup once Martin had to depart after Willie Donachie had kicked him in the head, total collapse and Cubillas running riot.
