So I’m planning to order this light over the fall/winter to install and be ready for next riding season. I live in Iowa, and I see people saying it’s not legal. Have you been pulled over yet? If so, did you say screw it and keep using it or take it off for factory to avoid tickets. Appreciate the video. Actually makes me believe I can do the install, which will take me 4x longer than the average person I’m sure haha.

You guys should really do an addendum to this video and talk about the two plastic pins inside the four-wheel-drive knob mechanism. They provide friction to the knob between 4 high and 2 Wheel Drive. They also are essential for the resistance for the push in to four low function. I got extremely lucky. Mine fell out onto the table, and I saw them many people in the comments are talking about problems related to these two pins or as an alternative, you can provide these pins in your kit.

I’ve watched this video six times and still cannot see the two clips that hold the outer ring on. The overall video is good but damn difficult to see the clips.

They have to come up with a light that's not so labor intensive. I have a Hogworkz chrome halo 7 inch and it's plenty bright.

any issues with water getting inside the fairing since the light has a cooling holes?

Seems stupid to me to have a harness and wire taps. Lame. Every other headlight on the market either uses the factory plug or has a short adapter.

Thank you for making this video. Just ordered my LP6 yesterday for my '23 RKS. Like you, I live in the country and even though H-D offers stock LED headlight, it still sucks, especially in comparison to the Baja. Great camera work, btw. Loved your outtro-aerial shots.

I ride a '21 RGS and really seriously considering these LP6 headlights upgrade after I complete my front fat tire kit 180x5.5x18 upgrade... When the time comes to install these LP6 headlights, I will be installing a couple of light control switches so that I can turn on & off either the amber or white headlight if there are LEOs lurking in my neck of the woods here in San Diego, CA...lol...but considering how crazy "cager" drivers are out here, if they cannot hear your you , they will at least see you especially that Amber LP6 makes it visible in the sea of white led lights on the freeway/highway... Thanks for sharing and I like that you recorded some night light tests and that is really what counts is how good are these LP6 vs the factory stock and it it worth the cost/expense...what is amazing with these LP6 lights is the great amount of wide angle lights it throws to the ground...my factory stock lights are so narrow that taking corners at night is like scary at night.

I did also confirm today that the Baja designs covers will still fit as well. I ordered an amber cover for foggy mornings and I will keep you guys updated on how it goes. Maybe another video to come showing the output on the road

Good video. I recently installed this also and am having trouble getting the trim ring installed as well. I replayed that section several times but I am not sure if I followed how you did it. Did you remove the little top aluminum retainer piece altogether?

Pretty unusual to wire directly to the battery , most just plug and play to the factory headlight connector.

Does the push start chrome delete work on 5th gen 4Runner?

No mention of the springs and plastic sliders housed between the knob and frame piece? When removing the one small screw in the middle at 3:44 be sure to take apart very slowly and look for the them. They are down inside two holes. Mine came flying out and it took forever to realize what happened and find them on my shop floor.

Just finished installing the knob and I can’t get it to compress to go into 4lo. Anybody else have this issue or know how to fix this?

I replaced my 4x4 wheel, & now I think I messed it up. Because it feels like its confused in 4wd when the wheel clearly says 2wd
