Greetings from Turkey, the other side of the world. I am now 44 years old and my son is 10 years old. In 9 years, we will be exactly your age. I hope we will travel like you did. It was a wonderful experience. I watched it from beginning to end with bated breath. Your father-son relationship is amazing. I wish you always be happy. Özgür Türk from Turkey.

New subscriber here. I appreciate how your video respects without sensationalizing or romanticizing your interactions with others culture. Much like your video biking with your dad, you showed the genuine heart of your experiences through the art of visual media. Looking forward for what and when you post your next videos!

Incredible work Josh, and so vitally important to highlight the lives of these tribespeople that need protection from the ever encroaching developers, and from the threat of deforestation.

Nice adventure 🚴🚴. By the way, that ocean your final distination is familiar to me that was a clif house. I used to go there for fishing 🎣when the Stripbass season and California crabs. I still remember the sunset in San Francisco and Daly City is a beautiful place 🥰🙏

Recommendation: Start on the West Coast, unless you prefer headwinds.
@joshpkohler3 ай бұрын
Over a long period of time you will get winds from all directions. We started in the east to favour the weather and so the scenery would improve as we went on. We do not regret our decision one bit
@SknappCFA3 ай бұрын
@@joshpkohler good call on the scenery. I live in the Midwest, so the coriolis effect makes the wind blow from the west with rare exceptions. We always start westward on our long rides so tailwinds can assist our tired legs on the way home.

Good lord Josh - what a deeply captivating story you have told here. Thank you for all the effort in putting this together. You are a wonderful film maker and honestly, this was every bit as immersive as anything we've watched in a very long time. You are a fine young man and certainly have a fabulous dad (and mum of course) too. It's wonderul to see you do such a thing with your dad and I know you will cherish every moment. I lost my beautiful dad last year and have endless wonderful memories of things we did together, right up until he left us. Now it's over to me to keep going with my own son and daughter. I could sense your values shifting along this journey, shedding light on the things that really matter. Keep it up - we can't wait for your next amazing journey and have just become your latest Aussie subscribers! Take care and many thanks from Sydney - Dave and family
