Have you made the aerodynamic calculations of the changes you made with a hammer on the body parts? Let me tell you... the trunk spoiler is 1.87, the mudguards are 1.92, the engine hood is 2.05, the friction coefficient has increased. When the ESP is off, it allows slight sideways between 73-75. Then the ESP works. The vehicle computer is programmed like that. Since your vehicle's friction coefficient increases, it will slide too much from behind and overturn.

My SLK 200 is completely original..no paint..no paste. There are no hammered parts.. and it will remain that way.. 2008 model.. one of the last remaining originals... Mercedes R171 designers who saw what you did are crying... you have ruined the work of art..

If it’s just yourself and partner then you won’t be disappointed. I just got mine a couple months back and totally satisfied. I wouldn’t recommend for a family if going out overnighting and long travels since space is limited. Otherwise pull a trailer if up for that sort of hassle.

Should’ve done it to a 350! Why bother doing all this to the smaller engine, the 350’s cost about a grand more to buy…. And you get a lot more engine

@@fidias0 no need. Just buy an SLK350 rather than the SLK200. Price wise they aren't that much more... Then you're putting an amazing body on a car with enough power. But each to their own I get that. Great job though
