these all sound *terrible* X'D The case has no acoustics. A case without space cannot produce a good sound. Best to just maximise the muting and dampening and carry on with earplugs. Throw as much foam in as will fit to hide the noise :P

How do the jade switches compare to the jade pros and which one would you say is better for gaming? I feel like a lighter switch might be better for gaming or my gaming style/preferences, but they are both quite low actuiation force by the looks of it, and the branding on the "pro" version has led me to believe that these would be better than the non-pros?
@aunboxing360Ай бұрын
If you’re aiming for speed and responsiveness in gaming, the Jade Pro would likely be the better option, given the lighter actuation. If you’re more into tactile feedback with a bit more resistance, you might prefer the standard Jade.
@ressy673Ай бұрын
@@aunboxing360 Hi, thanks for getting back to me. While I appreciate your answer it does confuse me a little bit, as I believe it is the Jade Pros that have the higher actuation force of 40g, whereas the regular Jades are 30g. If this is the case, according to your response wouldn't this mean the standard Jade switches are better for gaming?

question, whats the difference and benefit of using magnetic switches over traditional switches?
@AllisonRoadWestАй бұрын
Custom actuation distance. Extremely useful. If somebody is a heavy typist \ gamer they can increase key actuation distance to reduce errors or they can shorten it for speed and rapid tapping. Like having multiple switch sets in one keyboard all changed quickly with software. Once someone lives with one - they never go back to traditional optical mechanical switches. 🎉

I tried the Cowberry and Aloe (linear switches); they required no force, and the space bar felt dead. If you're coming from Apple or MX Keys Moss, Blues or Wisteria is the way to go. (Tactile) . (Moss has a great feel regarding thump and force). Sound tests on KZbin are irrelevant to the feel which is more important when typing for hours. I also wanted to note that they sell sample packs of the switches on Amazon which is great if you don't want to waste time or money.

Agreed, just got one with Cowberry coming from MX Keys for 2 years. Had it two weeks and ordered Moss as making so many typos from accidental keypresses. The Moss are SOOOO much better!
