Honestly, I absolutely _love_ synths like this one, that are made to create aural chaos.

Nice portable piece. Looks like it would be a good pairing with the SH-4D, JD-XI/A or the Jupiter XM. Most of which can also be battery powered.

Roland have conflicted info on bitrate in manual and in specs on official site. Very weird. Also there's different info on how to move samples, some say you can use it as external HDD, other says you have to use proprietary software. This is more "behringer-like" treating of a hardware but i guess Roland never paid any attention to a cheap gear...

My thoughts? Better than the KO II 😒

Outside of fully free-form experimental jams, I'd propably sample it. I can imagine this could be recreated with maybe MaxMSP and a controller? Could tame this thing with maybe some kind of sync/clock, a looper and freeze funcions and it might be more usable in a more "traditional" way.... But I love the Destiny+ stuff, someone has to build these crazy machines! In experienced hands I bet you could fill a contemporary art gallery gig!

If they made it look like a mini boss-202, that would've been enough rizz to get me to snatch one up. The red and black, the vertical layout, but with the modernish features...

Dope on the go sampler. Nothing is this small with all these features. Only thing I can think about is the tracker mini but you can’t live record only input sounds and the ko2 is huge compared to this. My only gripe is the screen but I’ll get used to it.

Like all creative tools, this instrument I think will do very well in the Ambient arena. Thinking of purchasing one to merge with my 1010 Music Lemondrop Granular synthesizer. Experimental music is my forte. I think my Yamaha WX-11 wind synth would do well with this Sonicware synthesizer. Very nice information you have provided in this video my friend, all the best to you!

I wonder why it's not in the common standalone format they do usually? I don't need this module until it can't be triggered via MIDI without additional modules.

You obviously have never seen the same thing made by Erica synths a couple of years back. This is a full ripoff
@boriscat199916 күн бұрын
@@kingpishful maybe. but other than the 4x4 layout. the programming manuals are quite a bit different. the knobs control different things. and the navigation is different. Song mode is a LOT different between the two as well. fewer number of trigger tracks on the RS-9 but it has many more buttons than the Erica DS should have been a big tip off that these are pretty different sequencers.
