Im currently in a trying periode with foundations .. i have dry,sensitive skin, skin with some redness and exzema . I want a foundation that gives a nice natrual glow ,long wear and dont dry me out . Im 44 years old and live in the Norwegian (nordic,cold,wet ) climate. 😅❄️🌬

Armani Luminous Silk is my absolute favourite. I promised myself to not try anything new (nothing beats Armani) but i tried the new Dior Stick Foundation and oh my god… My base just looks incredible. Lasts through the entire day. Love it! So now i have two absolute favourites!

I would love to hear what application the double wear lovers use. I’ve only seen one dedicated review saying they used a damp sponge and I’m a brush girl and have this foundation but haven’t played around with it yet to know what to use. I'm a Shiseido lady (age 50). I wore Esteé Lauder in my teens and 20s, but I've been very happy with Shiseido for a long time. It looks great on me and lasts until I take it off. I like all their foundations but the latest one I'm using is Revitalessence which is amazing. I'm dismayed that they seem to be phasing out their eye and check lines though.

I got the Tir Tir red cushion foundation & love it so far, I even use it as concealer. Once it dries down it barely transfers. Makes my skin look really smooth.❤ Also learned the proper way to apply this foundation from watching Nikki Larose videos.

Nars light reflecting is my soul sister in foundation format. It is the only foundation in my collection that I have 'my seasonal' shades in. So very much worth evey penny!

Allie, I would have liked them to say what type of skin they have, if it is dry or combo or dry, because I have dry and sensitive skin and I don't know what to choose, because I also appreciate that they are comfortable to wear, I think I am one of the few people that the only makeup base I use is the Mac face and body, because of how comfortable it is and the coverage I know is low, but I like those types of natural bases. I totally understand double wear being number 1. It is definitely my old faithful. If I don’t know what to use or my makeup isn’t makeup-ing, I go to my Double Wear and it def saves the day. With the right skin prep and priming, you can make it look skin like and glowy.

At age 75, I have used lots of foundations, including luxury brands. But the foundation I love now is the Dior Foundation Stick. It is lightweight and blurring. Lisa Eldridge skin tint is also excellent. Highly recommend both for mature skin. Love your top 10 series.

I got the Lisa Eldridge foundation shade #5 which was too dark and yellow for me. They nicely refunded my money and are sending me some samples to try which is really nice b/c I really want to try it. I was a little disappointed that the majority of these foundations except 1 or 2 are not cruelty free so I will not be trying them. There is no excuse IMHO not to be cruelty free at this point when it's possible for other brands to do it and still be fantastic (like Ravie Beauty). But that's just my thought. Curious to see about the concealers.

Love my ELDW. Been wearing it for years. I've tried many others, and liked many but always come back to Double Wear.

I love this an a lot of my favs are on this list! I'm an oily gal so unfortunately not too many matte formulas were on here! The nars soft matte foundation is so good! And when they came out with the light reflecting after. I mix them and its such a beautiful long lasting result! 🥰🥰🥰💯✨️

I love Nars light reflecting, Armani luminous silk, Hourglass ambient light flawless foundation, but the foundation that blow me away recently is the One size turn up the base, it's absolutely gorgeous on the skin, it doesn't even feel like I'm wearing foundation.

I have tried the L'Oreal Infallible foundation. Looked beautiful, but I found it was kind of tacky on my face. It's been years since I tried it so not sure if that still stands today. I've also tried the Nars foundation. YES! It is beautiful, but I felt it made the lines and wrinkles on my face stand out a bit. Not sure if that can happen if the foundation is lighter than it should be. The Haus Labs is absolutely gorgeous! I have recommended that one to my friend who is just getting into makeup (I also recommended the Dior one to her as well). The Haus Labs concealer is also very good. I plan to purchase it soon after I use up the other brands that I have. Love the videos, Allie!!!

I have oily skin and I love that L’Oréal skin tint. I used up my bottle so quickly. I also love the maybelline matte and poreless. I recently tried the Haus Labs foundation, and it’s so beautiful, too.

I'm a drugstore girly and my go to is the Maybelline 24 hour skin tint. I have never tried a high end foundation but I think I'll give Estee Lauder a try soon. My grandma, god rest her soul, swore by it and my mother swears by it. Good to know others do too!

I’m glad that some of them are affordable, but the prices of the others are mind boggling to me. I can’t imagine spending so much for foundation.

I love these recommendations. I have tried and loved some of them, like the L'oreal Infallible, and the Maybelline skin tint. Just Beautiful. I would love to try the Dior Face and Body One and THe Haus Labs foundations. They interest me a lot. But I am surprised I didn't see or hear about the LYS foundation or their new Skin Tint stick,- Can you say Stop the presses? lol Total Gorge!! I also love my main holy grail- The CoverGirl Trueblend for my summer days(drugstore of course); I also Love the Laura Mercier Real Flawless Weightless Perfect ting foundation- OMG! So beautiful on my normal-to-oily skin. This foundation looks like my skin. As an ALMOST 44-year-old/young, I enjoy looking like myself and having a natural look. I only use a little bit and it's just remarkable. The first time I tried it, I was like, "Where have I Been?!" What???!!!!!! lol I'm a drugstore girly, so when you speak High-end, it better be Great!! When I tell you, I wore this out and did a simple everyday look w/ a bold lip! Did get Compliments on my skin. Not Makeup. It's Timeless, and would highly recommend this to anyone with oily skin. You'll love it!

I've repurchased the infallible a couple times over the years trying to make it work for my oily sweaty self and it just doesn't. I'm not sure why. The Maybelline Super stay however is the most amazing thing ever. Like I said I'm extremely oily and I work as a teacher in the Caribbean on an open campus and end up having to walk around with the students a lot, so on days where the temperature is in the 90s and I'm sweating a lot, it needs to hold up. And it definitely does.

I did a 5 minute makeup look this week which I have never done before. I like to take my time and hit all the steps. The last step was to apply your Ravie blush in paradise. I looked so healthy, and I was happy with the end result. I will be recreating this look most days now. Thank you for inspiring me!
