and even after so long of not intereacting with black butler since i was like 14, not touching this song since i was 13, and forgetting it existed for a while.. even now at 17 i can still sing this like second nature, and it now makes me want to cry because it reminds me just how old I'm getting and makes me think how in the world i could've ever forgotten about black butler when Sebastian was one of my very first comfort characters and still is.

Has anybody else noticed that all the letter “I” in these lyrics are kinda shaped like pawns on a chessboard? I kinda like that, it makes me imagine that everyone in the anime except Sebastian are just pawns in Ciel’s game of life. Even the ones he’s close with. Pretty hardcore, don’t ya think?
