Why some people want to share ALL thoughts online instead in person? There's is something that should have a little bit of privacy and nowadays, seems like the entire world knows about my complicated situation I am in and is just impossible to believe that whoever wrore these words "who we are and what we mean matters more" _ doesn't make sense at all _ literally! Twisting my mind, my soul my feelings everything in my life

I'll send a letter to Bon Jovi maybe he knows how to deal with the Blaze of Glory _ cuz' I don't _ literally! Only, nowadays, here in this Beautiful province British Columbia Canada where I am in forced to be alone_ Canada Post is on fucking strike and no one knows when the strike is going to end completely

I am pulling my boots on as I write. 😊 I wish my special friend could come to Yorkshire. A walk on the moors with the sheep and rabbits would be perfect. ❤ 🌟

I actually think this song was one of the best on SWW, which cause its now an overplayed album I only really listen to this track and I'd Die For You anymore on repeat. I also think the latter track ( IDFY) is also one of the albums best, these could both have been singles also.

Oh this is so beautiful. Love the half a step down, gives it a rougher more masculine edge.

You made the song halfway bearable, which is a massive achievement for a song as tremendously bad as Without Love. :D Great job!

I've always loved these guys. I'm curious why they played all their songs a semitone down live. This was recorded in D but played in C# - I presume Jon was preserving his voice for the long tours - and unless you compare the 2 you wouldn't notice. Clever thing to do - not sure if other bands did this?

Jon really blew his voice out on the Slippery When Wet tour prior to that (check out Landover 1987 on my channel - it's a clean Soundboard capture that gives you an idea of just how far his voice had already gone to hell). He always went to the absolute limits of his then-current vocal capabilities in the studio and I think these two factors combined became the reason why they tuned the songs down from 1988 onwards. Basically to help him through long tours and preserver the vocal chords better. I know the Scorpions started doing similar things at some point, but then again it was around the time their singer was in mid-60s and being able to pull off a power ballad like Still Loving You in any way at that age is a tough thing to do :)
