When you opened this, is the plastic wrapper really open on both sides? Is it not sealed? I just got mine and its not "fully" sealed. Is the packaging really like this or did i get an opened one?

How do you compare this with Amouage Silver Oud?

@@tvieso okay so Afrika Olifant is mostly a complex usage of very pungent Animalic notes while Silver Oud is a complex usage of Oud and Woody notes with a noticeable Cypriol oil note. In terms of performance they’re both beasts! In terms of smell, if I’m being honest with you Silver Oud smells better especially at the dry down, unfortunately Afrika Olifant to my nose was just too animalic and linear, after unboxing it here I sold it off the next day lol 😂

@@HollerAtcherBoi Honestly it would be quite redundant if you have those 3 already. Although this one has a “ slightly “ different fruitiness which maybe not everyone’s nose might pick up.

@@Jason_bluebla_blaha uhmm so generally I wouldn’t write it off as being redundant, they’re quite similar as they both share the same DNA, but this is a fruitier, fresher and brighter version. If you have a well experienced nose you might be able to observe the slight differences but in terms of performance this has quite a better edge over not only intense 👍🏾

Just got the 150ml bottle, at first I didn't like it since It was moved heavy during the shipping process. But after letting it settle for 4 days. I can't get enough of it. Beast mode . Most perfume i use 10 to 15 sprays. Even mancera red tabacco i use 10 sprays. This beast only 2 sprays last 24 hours plus .projection 4 feet 8hours and than 2 feet for at least 6 hours this is a beast

They’re both very different. Personally I hate the Apple note in Layton so I’d pick this over that (hopefully you’ve smelled both before deciding). My most complimented PDM scent is Haltane.
