Going on those boats was one of my earliest memories at Disneyland, I remember having anxiety from all the rocks because we were so close to hitting them but not realizing it was on a track 😂

When I first went to the magic kingdom in the 1980s my grandmother went on Big thunder mountain expecting it to be something like this so she was in for a shock as there was nobody with videos to show her what it was like 😂 This is a really good dark ride with lots of detail

This still looks amazing and not dated. The problem is the new one will open and will be even better, then all the greedy Americans will watch it on KZbin and complain it’s not in Florida or California, just like they do with Tron, Ratatouille, Mysic Manor etc or any attraction not in a US park

I love this with all my heart and soul. So many memories from the late eighties, nineties, and early two thousand visiting Disneyland when I was a kid and young adult <3 I would love to go back with my wife... we were engaged there. But reading and listening to how expensive its become, I'm a little reticent. So maybe I'll just keep it locked away in memory, as nothing can poison them!

Was there recently on a Sunday and Tuesday. Couldn't get to it on Sunday. On Tuesday, booked LL around 8am for 9:30am ride... Delayed once... re-booked for 11am.... delayed again... re-booked for 1pm... delayed for the 3rd time... next available LL wasn't until 7pm, after my departure time. Bummer... really wanted to ride it but it was a bad day to try and get on.

I was just there last month. This ride made me so happy, I may have cried. It was towards the end of night, and I was in immense pain from dislocating my ankle 2 weeks prior. But it was amazing.

As someone who’s is terrified of any too intense roller coaster, this is the best thing I’ve ever been on.
