Biggest thing that's been swinging games my way recently has been looking for the angles the player swings at from disadvantage (double jump fair from ledge, and falling buttons/delay dj falling buttons are most common) and parrying them when I see the situation, free combo start or smash attack

theres optimization on pw side for raw dmg but routing slightly less dmg per UD efficient gives you more corner carry to make the corner h buer fly air buer ender work more consistently, which does like 100 more than pure midscreen if you get good micro dashes on marie routing you can get decent corner carry ngl

other marie assists slot in differently but you can't do the charged heavy ender with marie assist b/c tag IPS rules all roughly 8k tho some optimizations possible if pure midscreen since on lights you can dash up 2/5hp tag to pw instead, but that will require using different assist/3rd characters assist for IPS stuff

If the assist isn't super fast it's hard for it to pickup off the 5mk but in theory yeah L pin works here and is fast enough that if I use l pin in combo pre reset I can still use it for the reset. The classic deer setup is with double and L/m beat extend for context of what assist speed you're looking for

the 5mk lbuer is not possible on retail rn, idk if it'll stay probably like 100+ dmg to optimize, this was just the first combo idea that came to mind, might be better to do marie 5hp htwill instead of whiff L twirll for meter, 5mp htwirl and do slightly dif pw stuff

Not a bug, sg has always had different knock down timings intentionally bc Mike didn't want oki looping taking a long time, just Marie is an outlier with much longer sliding/hkd than rest of cast
