@@podthesod Thanks Andy. Faversham is just one example of a sad lack of investment in infrastructure going back decades. Ramsgate, Dover, Rye, Littlehampton. Shoreham all the same. Compare with Gravelines, Niewpoort, Ostende. Blankenberge . Dutch inland waters... They have spent many billions or euros.. Cheers DW

Not sure but that looks like the huts in the Mexico are still there. My father worked therein the 40s and 50s. It’s been closed for a hell of a long time. Many many years ago I was walking down the creek and there was a man testing the outfall from that sewer. He held up a sample in a glass and told me it was pure enough to drink - I don’t know if he really drank any, maybe that was the test lol

🤢 i wouldnt recommend drinking anything that came from that creek 😆 certainly plenty of history in the area. Always interesting to hear peoples stories and experiences

How long does it take a newbie to get airborne. Looks incredible but the initial fear of that first flight would get to me
@nathan54704 жыл бұрын
Hi so it seems to really vary from person to person. Youve just got to get as much ground handling in as possible and hope for good weather. I think most places would say around 5-8 days but in reality could be months if the weather isnt right. Its a funny thing about the fear. As soon as you are off the ground there isnt any. Its just incredible. All our progression videos are on our parahooners channel. Go check out our journey. It has been an absolute blast. Cant understand why everyone isnt doing it.

Natherne Fpv Natherne Fpv im still trying to glue it back together. The left elevon snapped off but I think if I glue it back on then reinforce it with gorrilla tape it might be functional. Its hard to fork out more money because im also trying to get into quads. I'll try to fix it but, do you have any recommendations for a cheap wing to put the guts into?
@nathan54705 жыл бұрын
@@carson.608 oh if you have all the parts definatly glue it all back together. Mine looks like a frankenwing now but still flys great. Im not sure you can get as much bang from your buck as you do from a AR wing. The S800 is a good cheap wing with lots of people using them but they are not as ready to go as the AR and will need some setting up. I have just got a ZOHD Dart (the little one) and its tons of fun. But ideally for fpv. It would be hard to fly line of sight. Just do what you can afford. If you can fix it definatly do that!

I see Paragliders laid out :) those long long lines man! But is there a ridge around from which the guys planned to take off? And what happened in the last crash, you rolled and just went down. I think that's a gentle slope, is it?
@nathan54705 жыл бұрын
kzbin.info/www/bejne/j2KulmyuedBjn7M Well spotted. Its a new venture! Paramotoring. We just headed there for some ground handling practice. No ridge. Just a nice slope. Yeah that last crash was a failsafe. That was with a Zohd dart with no FC. Just direct from the reciever. Came over the hill that i was standing at the top of. I was in line of sight of it. No idea why it dropped out but lost all control.of it as it powered its way into the ground. 🤦♂️

Hi Craig. Yes there is loads of mtb tracks around Clowes Woods. Us lot in this video all live around Herne so start off roading near The Punch Tavern, take as many single tracks as we can to, around and back from Clowes wood. That being said we haven't been out for ages. Really must dust the bike off and get back into the habit. Such a cracking way to get done fitness training in and so much on our door steps. If you are on Faceache I'd recomend having a search for some local groups. A few friends seem to be part of biketart mtb riders. They look a good lot.
