Hi Jay, when you build a Power Automate Flow that uses the Run Script from SharePoint Action, you can include, in that Flow, an Action to read and write to files either in your personal OneDrive location of in a shared SharePoint location(Library). That is, you can read and write from anywhere. The Office Script is effectively just a serverless function. You feed it data via its Action and it returns data with its return.

Hi @epitome8639 try creating the Apply To Each Action first then add the Excel Value for its looping component. Then, add the compose Action. Then start building the Array. Hope that helps.

Before I attempt to address the quantum argument, which reduces the brain to a motherboard, I need to address some basic information about brains. Consciousness is a state of the brain, ranging from: - Conscious and aware states such as hyper-attentive, wide awake , vacant .... .. . to non-conscious (unaware) states such as sleep, deep sleep, anaesthetised , coma, death. Whether conscious or non-conscious (except dead) , there is a sub-consciousness component of the brain that operates below the level of awareness (or consciousness). The brain is a component of the integrated physiological organ systems of the body. It integrates, co-ordinates sensory information and initiates prescribed, relevant actions or behaviours. It is also capable of registering relevant information about the external environment, as well discovering by experimentation behaviours appropriate to the management of the organism's safety and well-being, and the operations of these activities allow retention of the acquired information as memory - i.e. it has the capacity for learning . This learning equips the organism to respond to challenges. Involuntary, sub-conscious, decisions are pre-wired, pre-programmed in the brain. They are physiological reflexes; they are life-preserving, life protecting innate behaviourial, responsive, actions.They are not learned, they are fundamental homeostatic responses to the sensorium - receptor organs that monitor and measure the internal environment (e.g. blood pressure monitoring) and receptors monitor and measure the external environment for prescribed threats to the organism (e.g. noxious agents) or prescribed , identifiable rewards available to the organism in responses to physiological needs (e.g. hunger, sex). All members of the Kingdom Animalia possess some degree of this Those are some of the fundamentals of the brain. How does a brain make a decision about the brain? The brain informs the human? Those statements bear no resemblance to biological reality as it is now 01:02 , I am far too tired to proceed. -
@Sanesparza2 ай бұрын
Woaah man how do you know so much? Would like to hear more of this
@maxking95932 ай бұрын
@@Sanesparza I forgot about "more of this" - a copy of something written long ago The survival of an organism depends upon its life processes (physiology, organ functions) being maintained within critical limits , i.e. - homeostasis, the maintenance of a constant state, internal environment. The regulatory elements operate automatically below the level of our awareness , whther conscious (awake and aware) or unconscious (asleep and minimally aware) Survival also depends on maintaining bodily integrity, to recognise and act appropriately to threats from the environment. Vertebrates evolved a brain structure that had an inborn ability to interpret danger, and a corresponding set of behaviours to avert the threat. The capacity to learn to recognise other dangers also evolved. Generally, an automatic, very fast behaviourial response is necessary to avoid the threat, so the innately recognisable threats (e.g. snakes) as well as learnt threats (e.g. humans) trigger a reflex avoidance response. The human brain contains a phylogenetically ancient region, the Limbic System. Human beings are complicated by the acquisition of a sense of self, a personal identity, an ego that are sensitive elements of a person’s existence, and are equally necessary to protect against threats. Thus human lives are subject to the normal biological homeostatic controls and protections against threat, but they are also burdened with mental homeostatic controls and protections. The awareness that humans have of the stimulus and the response constitutes the emotional reaction. Humans also have the ability to modulate, or override the expression of an emotional reaction. My belief is that fear / threat is the fundamental emotional driver . The feelings that we experience are related to the degree of fear/threat that affects us and the consequent emotional reaction.The fear scale ranges from a maximum (terror) to the almost zero level (happiness, love,. serenity) That’s all i can manage for now - exhaustion rules. there is no such thing as the mind , it is simply a term that we use to identify the set of mental behaviours (e.g. thinking, planning, remembering, deciding ) that we acquire as we grow and learn. In the process of brain and mental development, we also develop self-awareness , a sense of self, or self-identity, comprising our physical body and our mental behaviourial abilities. Just as the well-being of our physical body depends upon maintaining a steady-state (homeostasis) of physiological parameters and protection of our physical integrity, so does the “self” need stability. If the physical body’s steady state is threatened , either physiologically (e.g. thirst) or by an external agent (e.g. infectious organism a projectile) then reflex restorative behaviours will be triggered as well as an emotional response to the distress. stressor---> emotional distress + stress-easing behaviour. Likewise, if the “self” is threatened , a train of distress and action can be set off. so, consider, “determination”, “obstinacy”, “ambition”, the determined woman was defending the threat to her self identity quality: reliable and determined. The obstinate person continued doing what he thought was right because he was defending his belief , his self identity of always being right. The ambitious person was responding to the threat to his identity of being successful, important, rich. scientific advances come from the pain of not knowing, of the self identity that is burning with curiosity On the other hand, the pain of not being like one’s peers can drive a person to add a skill to his identity. e.g. a child a can’t ride a bike, but his peers can. Thus, the child feels distressed about being left out, being different, being less skilled - so he, learns to add that skill to his identity., etc *That’s a survival characteristic* Undoubtedly. Fear (or the fear family) is the fundamental emotion - it operates to protect us from harm - it is the "alarm-bell" response that shapes fight or flight. While pain is the aspect of fhe fear emotion that appears after harm has been done.

This does not explain how to address Excel worksheets in different locations - from different locations. We have had for many year VBA based applications that are all no broken since IT forced Sharepoint/Team on us. For example, in one our Excel based tools looks at specific sheet in another workbook located in a different department and asks the used to confirm that it is the correct sheet before copying the data and processing it. This requires identifying the current sheet in the external Workbook and, if the user wants another page, moving to another sheet before the user accepts it. This is only the beginning. Our tool requires the user to click on only two button (other than the sheet selection confirmation in a dialog box). I am searching how to understand file paths in Sharepoint.

What is a decision? What is the neurophysiological basis of a conscious decision ? How can a brain make a decision about the brain.? How do involuntary , non-conscious decisions (i.e. automatic responses to the sensorium? @@analysiscloud But it wasn't. There is no "new science". Yes, there are new discoveries, sometimes changing our understanding of the world, but the basic principle stays the same. Science have to make predictions. Repeatable and falsifiable. People who take some scientific facts and build a story around it, write science fiction. I love science fiction, but I would never act as if it was true. A wonderful example is a book I'm reading again now. "Xenocide" by Orson Scott Card. Similar thing did Verne in his "2000 miles". He put a lot of imagination into his story and mixed it with science. Was he correct? Yes and no. But the point is, he didn't present that story as science and facts. He made it probably for fun and it probably inspired some people to push science in this direction. So if you would present your point of view as an interesting food for thought, I wouldn't mind. But presenting it as a real science is simply misleadig.

You don't need a so-called "quantum computer" ( =BS ) to create full Artificial rtificial Consciousness ( AC ). The function called "consciousness" is not created by a "quantum" BS. It is a simple natural redundant and functional process of memorizing and "comparing" continuously and "introspectively". The natural evolved biological brain doesn't work fundamentally in "parallel". Fundamentally, ( ="consciously" ) the natural biological brain works iteratively, one iterated "conscious" step after another iterated "conscious" step and so on. You and Sabine are talking pure BS. I've already texted her this 9n her channel, and she's hiding her head in the sand like usual, because she thinks she's smart, exactly like you... The quantum mechanics principles are quite a big BS, and reflect a deep lack of human mental prowess. Mathematical indoctrination makes people build illusory theories, useless and erroneous theoretical epicycles on top of other useless and erroneous epicycles, all a big untrue theoretical BS. All of these keep the true scientific advancement of humanity on wrong tracks and have delayed it for so very long. Full 'Artificial Consciousness' ( AC, not AI ! The Artificial Consciousnesses real process, not a fake one , is very different than tge Artificial Intelligence process ! ) is very doable today, at any time, on any regular and decent performance desktop computer, laptop, if you understand correctly the real biological and functional process that creates the "conscious" process, which is simple in its fundamentals, and if you have EVERYTHING it needs at hand. Anybody can do it on a regular, good, modern, and fast laptop, for example. Stop talking BS.
