How long can you run it pumping water

I am digging and installing my first so its really annoying that this one comes up for installation instead of simple REPLACE

What’s the size of the coupling needed that fits the hole on the pump?

My 😮2 yr old pump had broken nylon gear attached to shaft end but kit doesn't include the gear. Can't determine if need a replacement nylon gear before I reassemble the pump with new kit parts.

My Amazon replacement parts didn't quite fit just right and came with zero brushes. And the back of the impeller on my old one was completely melted and the video didn't really show how that ceramic part with the rubber seal went in. My pump is only 4 years old but sees heavy use.

So you sold me a product I can't use until I buy something else, a "foot valve". I would have never bought this if I had known I couldn't use anything longer than 25' hose; all of mine are 75 - 100'. You should have told about priming in the manual.

What is the little white screw valve that's made of plastic that sits right below the output of the pump housing

I recently purchased this pump and I have a question for Wayne. How long can I run the CP4 for added pressure before I should give it a rest? I live in Florida as well. Thank you.

Garbage pumps, garbage support. My WS150 is 2 years old and the cooling fan spun itself off the drive shaft. Wayne, when I finally got someone on the phone after 45 minutes on hold, said, "Sorry you have to buy a whole new pump." The pump is overheating and shutting off, so here I am trying to find any information about disassembly and the best I have is some limp wrist spinning off a brand new impeller at high speed. Best guess is it's counter clockwise direction? And there is no way you are using a screwdriver to hold that drive shaft while hand turning that impeller. I have the motor disassembled from the rear now and using a pipe wrench I can't get that stupid impeller off. When I buy a new irrigation pump, it won't be Wayne, they can piss off. I'm an electrician by trade and have repaired all kinds of appliances and this one is by far the worst I have found with respect to aftermarket support.

On the pump cover, you go 240 in-lb and then it says to "make sure you do not have a locking situation" (i.e. that the rotor can still move). Then it says "Once you have a locking situation, loosen the bolts 1/4 turn each." Are you supposed to continue to increase *above* 240 in-lb until the shaft locks and back off 1/4 turn? Of if you get to 240 in-lb and the shaft is free, you're done and the "back off 1/4 turn" is only in case it is locked AT 240 in-lb?

Ace hardware recommended this eeaup250 for my sump in my house. I should of trusted my gut and went with the trusty bobber switch ones. Went to look at pump today and pump was cycling when I showed up. Cycled every few seconds. I probably watched it cycle 20 times then unplugged it. Water wasnt even getting to the minimum line on switch maybe 1/2 inch up from base of it. 2 weeks old and debating on returning it OR cutting switch off and putting a bobber one on it. And then i do have a pipe that runs out of basement outside and ya when pump shuts off water trickles back down. Check valve wont work cause pump is in garage.

I must have cleaned this weep hole about a dozen times this winter and it got me thinking if it would make sense to make a second weep hole to prevent this? Or make the installed weep hole slightly larger? Or put some sort of filter on the weep hole? What are your thoughts on this?

My float appears to be working but the switch gets stuck to run even when the float has dropped after clearing the water. Is this a float issue as it seems it's more of a switch issue?

Don't have a Wayne pump . My float on my pump floats like in the tank of a toilet. The switch is inside the float and I have no idea how to replace !

You don't actually show it sucking up the low-standing water though, just someone having a cuddle session with their shop vac

I checked the weep hole - looked ok but I cleared it anyway. My pump still does not work. (I did work 2 weeks ago). Any advice before I purchase another one?

I have a 3 year-old PC4 and it seems significantly different; no spring washer, doesn't appear to have been built with an O-ring, and not sure I can pull the armature and get the impeller like you can in the video.

What else can you use in the back of the motor if the screwdriver keeps slipping????

I bought WSS30Vn pump and installed it with a new battery. After a year the power failure red light came on, alarm sounds nonstop and the backup pump doesn't work. Any ideas?

Are you 100% sure a weep hole is not needed in the discharge pipe?

I live in a subdivision and replaced my original 10 year old pump with a rigid sump pump that failed within 3 years. The steel rod that guided the float failed as it corroded and separated. I could not believe that the rod was standard plated steel not stainless steel. When I went to Home Depot to buy a replacement, the guy there could not understand why I thought rigid pumps were junk and had inferior design.

there is something wrong here. He says "Some pumps you plug the pump in you unplug it the pump stops. For a Pool cover pump you don't want to have to run out plug your pump in wait for it to drain and unplug your pump." THEN in a wildly contradictory instant He says: "We don't recommend that you leave your pump in the pool all winter." One Must Leave the pump in the pool all winter. Ya HAVE TO. or you'll be running in and out to remove it just like he said you should not have to do in the beginning when he was extolling the virtues of the pump. The winter is full of freeze/thaw cycles and it rains during thaws and the snow melts too, so you have to leave the pump in the pool all winter long. ?????SO WHICH IS IT????? The Wayne pump is meant to be left in the pool or one has to run out and remove it wheneverr there is going to be a freeze?????

We find we are having to clean the weep hole almost every use, sometimes multiple times, and it's getting beyond frustrating. Someone tell me they have an answer please.

What if there is water in the basin when you install it? I can't get my basin drained it continues to fill up from the high water table.

All that talking and didn’t mention anything about the real stuff people care to know - no noise no size of adapter nothing … can definitely improve.

I use the 1 hp 6400 GPH top of the line pumps. They are super quiet and kick ass.

So why is Wayne promoting Ridgid?

Wayne sump pumps are the best! I’ll never buy anything else.
