you improve your anxiety by a massive shift in what you are focusing on. don't dwell and get consumed by your negative thoughts, feelings, sensations and outlooks. instead switch your focus to thinking about how you can get better, what can you do, what tools do i need, what am i grateful for? get positive emotions going and keep going until you find so good change and ride that momentum!

I've been a boozer so not going to be holier than thou, but no freakin surprise that loading up on recreational and prescription drugs and booze, and being overweight is going to lead one to feeling anxious about things, heart palpations etc. For men at least I find a'lot of "anxiety" is self-inflicted, from substance abuse. Get off the drugs and booze and get some exercise, that's the fix for most people.

If you drink regularly and/or do drugs frequently your going to get anxiety ... Anyone that thinks they actually suffer from anxiety should simply cut them out for a couple of weeks and then see ...
@JonathanSanAnto17 күн бұрын
It doesn’t even fully take it away it just kinda numbs it out / makes you stop caring about it it. But when you become reliant on it and try to do things sober man it’s like anxiety is doubled.
@bobbobertson756815 күн бұрын
Exactly. And I am a sensitive type but most of the real anxiety I get is from the aftermath of booze. The "anxiety crisis" is really substance abuse crisis. Shouldn't try to fix it with more substances. When I am sober I don't give AF about anything, I can handle it.
@StewartCain-w7f15 күн бұрын
@bobbobertson7568 Yeah , I'm convinced too that most of these people claiming depression and anxiety are simply drinking or taking too much or too often.

😂I've got a very addictive personality and for some reason benzodiazepines and or alcohol are absolutely a fucking illusion. There so easy to quit. I have no clue what anyone is talking about.... 😂.. don't try it, cause I might be a unique weird one but I don't know what anyone is talking about them being addictive and or physically addictive. It's a bunch of crap to get more people to click your blog, buy your magazine or get more views on KZbin. It's not a common thing.

The harder you fight anxiety the stronger it gets. Recovery lies in the art of calming down which requires that ones mind and body are in tune. Once it has developed into a disorder the mind and body are out of tune, and reconnecting the two involves profound instinctive methods which most people never have the energy for. You know when youve recovered, you just know because everything comes surging back. Everything is clearer. The ability to feel true profound joy. Strong desires and ambition. What does yoir conscience say? You shall become what you are.

What methods are used for connecting the body and mind back together? It's been 13 years for me constant anxiety I do challenge myself by going outside but the anxiety hasn't improved much at all especially around people.
The BEST cure to anxiety is being really healthy. Good food, no booze/drugs, exercise and good sleep. That’s most of it but insanely hard too. If you’re really healthy anxiety tends to drop.
@jacobminnish702524 күн бұрын
I do exercise and avoid bad foods. My vices, sugar, weed, lol. I can manage having. A few drinks now and again. Still get anxiety but mostly over my cat cause I’ll leave her for about 11 hours a day. And my car.
@RetroKid2221 күн бұрын
This. I do sauna and ice swimming once a week (live in Finland) and it's the most anxiety and depression free day of the week. I would def do it every day If i could. I also sleep so damn good after. I also exercise 4-5 days a week to not jump off a bridge lol.
@johnmoore149521 күн бұрын
I work an outdoor seasonal job that’s manual labor from April-October. Without a doubt the cardio and strict sleep schedule I maintain from being physically tired from work, makes a night and day difference with anxiety (depression too but bad stuff can still happen and make that worse.) The problem is the healthy fixes aren’t an overnight thing. You notice the anxiety creep back in when you stop way more than you notice the anxiety fade away when you restart. Pretty much every November I start getting panic attacks because my sleep schedule falls apart and all the exercise stops from no work. It’s usually not until mid to late December that things normalize and I’m back to just being anxious.
@GeoD444421 күн бұрын
That’s actually what helped me with my anxiety. Good food, started boxing, sleeping better, stopped doing drugs and then saved some money. I figured if I got my physical health, mental health and economy together I’d at least have less things to worry about, while also being able to calm myself down during a panic attack cause I’d know I’m healthy and I’m not going insane. After a few months my anxiety levels dropped by a lot. To me, at this moment, anxiety was a wake up call to get my life in order.
