I actually always use a bigger hook than recommended because I always tend to pull the stitches too tight to where I can't get into them again otherwise. Don't ask me how that makes sense or how it works. It's just the only way I can crochet anything correctly 😅

When you purchase yarn on sale, donyou put the discounted price or retail price in your spreadsheet? So you can restock in materials that may or may not be on sale at a later date.

That blue yarn you don’t like the look of? Hold it double with a strand of worsted weight yarn to create a new “yarn”. Or use it for stuffing inside smaller plushies. That way you’ll still get use out of it and won’t waste it.
