Surge is an absolute beast. I love the two. I also have tbe Surge's two little brothers, the Wave and Charge. Those are good too but when I need a brute, I walk to the car or motorcycle and bust out a Surge

at day 18, lockdown... I cant find any information in the manual what to do with the ovation EX 28 to increase the humidity. Should you manually fill the hatcher with water or should you just increase the % in settings and the pump will do that job? The hatchers ive used before, you just added water in an extra area. A area for 1-18 and +B for day 19-21. Increasing the area of water alot. Thanks

Hey there! So we find that putting the humidity to 56 at lockdown, because as the eggs hatch, the humidity goes up on its own. It works well for us, trust the brinsea… it will figure it out😜

Thanks. Good details. Though per the instructions the turning / indicates that turning is turned on, no the humidity. If turning is switched off, it will show a 0. I just got mine and haven't played with it enough to know that it is true. Either you are right, or the instructions are right.

I agree with other comments - I really appreciate that this video is a straight take with no edits, so I can see exactly all the steps he took. I think every other video I’ve watched either cuts out segments of the video - so I’m not exactly sure what was done - or spends a bunch of time on things other than making the coffee. This one nailed it. Thanks!

Hi, thank you very much for your video. I have 2 questions about the 56 EX. Can you tell me if there is an alternative for the evaporation blocks? And can you tell me the diameter for the water hose? Pump hose? I think 2x3 or 3x4 mm? Many thanks for your help Greetings Toni
@hazelcreekheritagefarm80929 ай бұрын
Awesome! I’m Glad I could help! I have used paper towel in place of the the blocks, as thick as the depth of the holder, and have found no difference between the two, so that should save some money/ wait time for delivery, as for the tubing , I couldn’t tell you the exact size, however it is widely available at www.good2goco.ca , or the brinsea website.

Thanks for watching! I put the water temp to the hottest setting and only use medium roast beans. The dark beans will eventually clog up your grinder because they’re too okly

in the first part if steaming milk you dive pipe only 1-2cm under milk line, at the and at finish within 10-15 seconds before stop you dive it deeper close to bottom of can and put it in an angle and let it form a vortex for last 15 seconds.

Can you hatch different eggs at different times? Like take out a tray and have the eggs on the floor to hatch on half the incubator?
@hazelcreekheritagefarm8092 Жыл бұрын
You probably could, so long as you have no interest in candling the eggs still in the tray, just for the fact that you need to keep the lid closed permanently when you see pips. Also I would be concerned about bacteria growth affecting the hatch rate of the eggs still in the incubation process. We do incubate eggs at different times, however, we have a second incubator to do the lockdowns. So basically one incubator to incubate, and one for hatching Hope this makes sense, thanks for watching!!
