To those who go into medicine, because of a calling and love for this profession. Do not get corrupted by medical dogmas, learn the scientific, but look into holistic and psychological aspects of illnesses. Never let the pay-check be your motivation of going to work. Always work as if God is your employer. We desperately need doctors like these.

The HYMC residential last week was lit! Got to meet new people and the ambassadors where very helpful, they gave a lot of advice in terms of application process and gave us a perspective of the life of a medical student, there where PBL sessions and clinical skills. We also did a mock UCAT at the end which motivated me to revise more every day up to the exam just to give more confidence and practice, the main target of this HYMS residential is to give aspiring students a more insight on what HYMS has to offer, I’m certainly going to apply to gateway year too! Once again thanks for having me and thanks for being so welcoming. Won’t forget the awesome 3 days.

Hi, what are the best aspects of having 2 universities in one?
@HullYorkMed Жыл бұрын
Thanks for your question! Hull York Medical School is a partnership between the University of Hull and the University of York. Each brings a strong reputation in medical-related sciences which contributes to the Medicine programme. Their combined strengths in scientific research and patient-centred care ensure that students graduate with the skills needed to thrive in a rapidly changing healthcare world. Each student is a member of both universities, which means you can access and benefit from the facilities at both campuses too.

I am just.... What the Dr. Said is very much relatable to me. Even I love science ever since that subject was introduced in my school. I feel science is like true Love ❤ because at times I felt it bit tuff but I tackled it and realised how fascinating it is. I like to interact with people and ask them questions and know their story and background. I also like to help solve other's problem. So, even I feel that these three things mean just one thing - Medicine.
