Can I ask if there is a way to output the signal of the instrument being recorded through the speakers or headphones during recording? At the moment if I record a voice or an acoustic instrument I have no output for this signal so I have to rely on the sound "in the air", this works as long as it is an acoustic or a voice but if I want to record a synthesizer and that does not come out of my headphones or speakers I do not hear anything of what I am playing. This apart from the fact that to make multi-track recording possible (therefore with a base playing) of acoustic parts, it is necessary that the base is played in the headphones together with the instrument being added. Where should the possible activation of the audio output be set? I use Audition 1.5. Thanks.

When I create 3D this way, it's fine inside the comp where I create it. When I add this comp into another comp, the 3D disappears. I have played with the 3D setting (including the Collapse Transformations). Any ideas? In the comp where the shatter effect is used to extrude, is the switch for 3D supposed to be activated on that layer or not?

How to achive a different color or material on the front vs the sides of the same object? Like say you wanted the face of the letters to be red and the sides to be purple?

wth is avid symphony? lol Yeah but now whenever you want to used the collapsed element you have to go digging and cluttering your bins and then copy the collapsed clip, go look for the main sequence and then paste in, hoping it lands on the correct video layer and then having to trim the head and the tail to fit the clip where you want instead of just being about to choose a simple in and out and then dropping it onto your selected video layer. This is a terrible program and they still have not seemed to resolve this issue. This ludicrous. Anytime I do a video mixdown the media goes offline the second i restart avid or the second it crashes. Makes 0 sense to me.

Is it possible to delete the feathering after the fact? The only way i've found is to delete individual points till the feather is gone, but that's a pain

I don't see the "off" vs. video card dropdown, the entire option does not exist in the Vegas menu. It goes straight from "Max no. of rendering threads" to "Show source frame numbers..."
