This is the only video I have found that covers cabin filter replacement in a W124 M111! Unfortunately I had to find out the hard way before I saw this video that the W124 does not have a cabin filter when it doesn't have AC. The parts are a bit different and are not screwed together but are basically one part. I messed up my car and weather stripping for nothing and am properly pissed :X.

I FINALLY GOT IT. Follow this steps: 1. connect your device to your computer and go to the bose update link. 2. Press shift A+D+V AND UP AND DOWN KEYS. 3. UPDATE your device. 4. The lights of your device will turn off 5. Then your device will bip and you have to disconnect the cable from your device (note: from your device not your computer). 6. Connect the cable again to your device 7. The red light of powert must remain on, not flashing. 8. Now, wait like 5 minutes then press de middle button to reset your device. Press the middel button for 12 sec until the red ligth turns wite. 9. Then disconnect the usb from the computer and connect it to the power outlet. In this step the light ob the powert must be red and not flashing. 10. Reset the device again pressing the middle button again for 21 sec, when de ligts turn white, disconnect tue cable from your device, not from the power outlet. 11. Connect again your device to the cable already connected to te power outlet and the light must be red, then press the powert button and the light must turn orange. Thats it, problem fixed.

5.B Worked for me. I saw the adv up and down but you were the only one that said to shift. Oh my! Thank you. The website did show the firmware was up to date so I just reinstalled.

The red light appears also after changing the battery . In this case after changing battery the new battery returns different code to the unit via I2C port and this look out the unit. Since my unit cannot be programmed to fresh state ( NO DICE) the unit is useless . Maybe it works with some batteries but I will not risk to buy the new one . Never buy a Bose again - it is good quality sound but for maintenance and customer support it is piece of garbage .

#5 solved it for me (firmware was already up-to date so the standard update page did not allow me to re-install the latest firmware. Advanced mode did the trick.) So this video basically saved me from buying a new battery (50 USD), which I was about to do after trying many solutions from other websites. Thank you for this video!

Hello bro Kindly check it shows no dice I unplugged my device on 97 percent It worked fine for 2 days but then again it showed red light flashing now when I go for downgrade it says only one firmware option and update now when I click on update now it shows no dice error I checked on multiple computers

Hi! I've been watching your videos since yesterday, and was so hopeful last night when the update worked and it seemed like my device was charging, left it plugged overnight only to find that damn red light blinking again this morning! I've tried unplugging during the update when the light turns orange, and plugging into mains, but the light immediately goes back to blinking red, not solid. What do to!? I'm following the instructions below of letting it charge about half an hour and then unplugging and connecting again, but in case that doesn't work, any advice?

at the first time , i update everything goes well but i just forgot to dc the cable when the lights goes orange so i try to do the same thing to get update after i click the update now it pop out "no dice"

Are you sure its not gonna brick the device when we unplug it without letting the update complete?

Problem: Non-flashing red LED, no charging, battery voltage "0", locked in protective mode. SOLUTION: Depress middle multi-function button >12s until white LED flashes. WAIT 48 hours. Connect to PC via USB, then launch BOSE updater, type "shift + A +D +V" then "up" + "down" keys in that order. Press "Start update v1.1.14". (Update will fail because of low voltage, but flashing white LED indicates charging has begun,} Now CHARGE for 4 hours. Problem SOLVED!

I disconnect from PC at 97% with oragne led then charge with adpotor it still flashing red led
